That is a very smart idea to use the smaller Furnaces. Not only because they take up much less space, but also because they don't outpace the other machines.
It never occurred to me to go smaller and it makes all the difference.
A trick that I will definitely implement in future.
    Cheers

Wow! It's very cool that you can make most of the resources on their own separate platforms. You are super underrated and deserve way more subscribers! :)

Looks like you might need more subscribers. I'll share this on reddit. Glad to be with you under 100. Keep up the hard work.

ok so I'm gonna say I made a carbon thing where it takes the organic material from the futile tree and uses an auto arm to carry the organic and put it in a furnace then i use a auto arm to put the carbon in a generator

I thought I was doing so well and then I discovered that I need Astroneum in order to trade scrap for the Portable Furnaces

You can find the furnaces down in the caves as well.

You can easily find Astroneum near the core of just about any planet. It's probably easiest to go to Desolo since it's probably the smallest planet, and it doesn't seem to have much less if any per vein than the other planets

Great design! Thanks for the vid.
On a side note: Did you check it all the way? I kinda see a small issue, with the 2 portable smelters on the steel manufacturing platform. What if it gets clogged? Any chance for breaking the "each portable smelter doing separate resource" thing? Like ending with them both smelting carbon, for example? Or you just started it as soon as there were equal quantities in both resource contaners?

I didn't even think about both smelters doing the same thing. when i started it they both grabbed a different resource.

@@canuck40ish Checked your blueprint. Works like a charm, thanks for sharing! Especially if the raw material canisters are all the same amount (went for 400 myself hehe)
I did doubled the ammonium by side loading auto-arm, because of the double usage in the hydrazine recipe.
The only constraint are the gases,160 per gas canister, but that's not an issue at all if you have gathered them beforehand and switch them on the go.
Again, thank you for the vid, and keep up the good work with this amazing game!

What do you do with all the Nanocarbon alloy? Still new to the game.

you need it to make rtg's and a few other things. after you have enough of those, you can just use them for research.

Why would one need this much nanocarbon

    Bummer.

Rip. I've lost buggies and tractors. never a whole base part tho. That's wild. I've considered quitting several times after losing several qt-rtgs. Glad I didn't though. It turns out they can be pretty easy to get once you progress far enough.
