This is great video, however I want to point out one problem that I have with it... At the point in the game that you can build this monstrosity of a factory, you most likely already unlocked rails, autoextractors and large rockets with massive storages. I built an insane NCA factory that created me a large recourses container of it, by simply creating a massive mining facility on glacio, where you can find literally every single solid recourse required (I love glacio so much) you can find tons of graphite and ammonium near the core, titanium in the caves and iron literally everywhere. Put one of two atmospheric condensers on vesania for nitrogen and hydrogen(75 ppm and 100 ppm respectively), put one on the atrox for helium (25 ppm, which sucks, but what can you do?) and just pump argon from glacio (100 ppm, again, I love glacio). Oh, and with the addition of tappers, you don't even really need a good power station or an organic production, since both of them are being taken care of! The factory itself doesn't require ANY circuits and work as long as you pump recourses into it.
@@InternetGravedigger Yes, an obvious solution for, like, every single problem. I was upset because this was the only truly unique resource in the game with such a ******* rate of production
@@Oatis24 ... Are you stupid? I just said that this is the easiest building ever, just requiring a constant flow of materials. Five chem stations for hydrazine, graphine, titanium alloy, steel and NCA, and just a bunch of auto arms between them. No circuits, no logic nodes, nothing hard
That was made with what's called "true flat" in Astroneer. It's hard to explain, but I made a separate video on that: th-cam.com/video/9i1NnvulMS8/w-d-xo.html
If you go to Vesania, grab some leek seeds, you can then just grow them anywhere, put a tapper on them, and lastly, turn them into scrap since the shredder will accept them. Much easier than collecting soil and turning them into canisters.
To make this even better (NCAF 3.0 Video) You can make a version where in the long run you won't hollow out your planet by using Astronium, from a planet's core. You will just need to replace the beginning with Rails, C.O.L.E, and Auto Extractor. Craft up solid fuel jump jets and Destroy those.
I have considered an Astronium version. Not sure if another video would be appropriate thought since only the scrap part would need to be changed. I may do it though.
Unless they've fixed it you can scrap the leeks you get from tapping the new plant you find on Vesania, so you don't even need soil. "Ignore the glowsticks, they don't matter."
This is wild. I’ve seen a few people say that. I haven’t heard of this lol. I’m always 1 step behind making these nanocarbon builds as good as they can be.
Change your final storage platform 2. A extra large 4 spot platform with 3 large resource canisters and a large storage with one medium storage and three medium canisters. For Max storage without changing the roof
Me watching the entire video and understanding all of the logic and auto arm shenanigans even though I know I won't build it because I can't be bothered to put in the effort. Also, what would you even need that much NCA for anyways?
You really wouldn't as far as completing the game is concerned. This is for people who enjoy making huge contraptions where they need ridiculous amounts of RTGs or something. Or maybe you just want to have an extra large storage full of nanocarbon alloy. Basically it's for those who enjoy the super-late game play style instead of stopping whenever they get everything unlocked.

Could you not just put a count repeater on the auto arm before the trade platform and set the trade platform to fire once its reached 4 repetitions ? Seems simpler
You mean have the trade platform blast off after the auto arm moves four items? Count repeaters don't attach to things the way power and storage sensors do. They only activate things, so you have to use those in combination.
I don't know what you mean by this. I know you can get infinite scrap with organic using the tapper, and you can get infinite soil using cranes and gateways.
