I fish that body of water often and you have no idea how close you were to a very good striper spot. Also that stretch were you caught your last 2 keepers, I’ve caught numerous #5 pound fluke there.
I did not, but I think you can! I launched from the little park next to Spikes Fish Market (best location to google) on Broadway just over the railroad tracks, good luck!
Are you a left handed person for do you feel a left hand conventional is closer to a right handed spinning real? I was just curious my brother is right handed but uses left handed conventional he said its easier to switch back!
Question for you?I’m planning on going out there this weekend with my Kayak do you need a launch permit and a fishing license to fish that? If so how would I go about getting one I’m not a jersey resident.
Hey Ziti! Where I launched from you do not need a launch permit, as for a license, in NJ if you are fishing SALTWATER only, you do not need a license, but you can register with the NJ Saltwater Registry online for free, its an easy Google search, and you should be good to go! Good Luck! Don't forget your video camera!
