@@The_Bearded_Fisherman Wind made us work for it but lots of keepers came over the rails. It was steady all day as opposed to flurries. Some guys had double limits and I would say at least 5 5lb'ers.
On this day we were using all 2oz and 3oz jigs. There was virtually no drift on this day so you could use light gear. Shimano nasci 4000/ Tsunami Trophy series 7ft Heavy action is the spinning combo. Conventional is a shimano Tranx 401hg with jiggingworld nexus 7ft heavy. 15lb braid on the nasci, 30lb on my tranx. 30lb leader. If i ever need to throw 6oz or more ill be using the tranx.
Big Mohawk in Belmar Nj. There’s good boats in Point Pleasant as well. I like that the Mohawk does a full day trip. Im coming from Philly area so i want to make the drive worth it ya know. Id highly recommend boats in those two areas tho for ocean fluking especially this time of the year.
Thanks bro yeah we caught a ton today. Seagirt was on fire. What the hell happened today? I know a huge party booked most of the boat today i guess they ran outa spots for your boys? Glad you got out tho and got that limit!
Yea man business is business. If I were alone it probably would’ve been fine but we understand they can only have so many people on the boat. We will be back!
Nice video, The Boat name?
Appreciate it! Big Mohawk Belmar Nj

What weight jig 4 or 6 sorry for so many questions but my spinning rig doesn’t like 6 oz
