Nice video. The X is a super nice piece. The value is what someone is willing to pay., it’s an individual choice. A guy should just take it for rebuild after he buys it and just enjoy it.
@@Driven-Productions Large drive unit. Tesla dosent care about quality so their LDU leak coolant and it WILL break at some point. Theres an aftermarket mod that fixes it called coolant delete. Id buy from a brand that dosent have a built in time bomb in their motors.
I am my 4th MX my current one is a 2017 90d with over 120k miles. My warranty runs out this coming March. I am definitely a Tssla fan boy buy after having four Tesla's i am considering something different like the BMW iX M60.
@@teslamx4lifeunedited887 I hear you, change is nice but really not a fan of the design of the new BMWs. Am a big fan of the ICE BMW years though, except this generation.
@@jpgentleman3490 what is Amber? I made my move already so that ship sailed, but help others whats the cost of a 2016 P100D bumper to bumper warranty cost?
@ mine is Model X LR. I’m of the mindset that I really like the X. I’m at 91K miles. I will get the warranty as I approach there of the warranty from Tesla. I bought used and Tesla had to replace the battery a few months ago. For reference I bought in February 24 with 54K in it from Tesla. In less than a year I put over35K miles. I just live driving it. I agree with your assessment of dropping down to 20s versus 22s.
@ Battery was probably covered under warranty right? Did you ask what the cost would be if out of pocket? I would also be nervous with a third-party warranty as Tesla would still be doing the work and they would have to deal with the warranty company I assume. Not like a local shop here.
@@scott2byrd3 you know I did not look into an aftermarket warranty. Really I wanted the upgrade to the new Plaid, but curious to know if you do what they quote for a bumper to bumper for 3 years on this exact car.

Interested. Who’s the dealer selling ?
I would’ve kept it and do coolant delete on the LDU
@@89five3five care to explain what an LDU is? Or who could do that? Or why it helps prevent battery or motor failure?

@@Driven-Productions I vehicles that get looks and the BMW iX is an odd looking vehicle that's going to get looks......lol
@ yeah I’ll give you that one, just not for the right reasons 😭
@Driven-Productions fine with me as long as they are looking. No one wants a boring car. I definitely don't.

Hi from France, here same cars are sold around 43,000 dollars.
I am on the market for one in France too. And you're right. But I may wait for the refresh to come down in price under 50k€
@@AtlasWarior interesting
Why don't you just get an extended warranty from Amber & keep the car?

NEVER OWN A TESLA WITHOUT BATTERY AND DRIVETRAIN WARRANTY. 1 MOTOR REPLACEMENT IS $7,000.
@@ghosttesla you know from personal experience?
@ yes. My model S rear drive unit just went out. $7,000 to replace. Never own a Tesla out of warranty brother. Good sell on your part.

Curious what people think as the algo picks it up. #tesla
Would have loved to but for $20k 😂😂😂

You can buy an extended warranty
