Thats great man, im sure you love the car and I'm happy for you. I'm glad the videos are what you need to help you with your mods!! Good luck to you mate
Yes mate, looks cool with a Sharan badge, I know that is a common one that people do. When I get a chance I will probably change it over as well. Thanks 👍🏽
Yes mate im happy for you and everyone says this, they say it literally transforms it. I'm going to order up my last bits at next month and get on with it. Glad you are happy with it
Hey Naz have you looked into the headlights painted black (inside) the anniversary has the insides painted black instead of chrome. I have mine done it looks really smart.
Hey Sean, no I havent looked into that but good shout mate I will see if I can pick some up on the marketplace. I will have a look to see what they are like. Thanks mate 👍🏽
@@SPOOLINUP I was thinking you could actually have a go at doing it yourself, and doing a video how to. You have to separate the glass from plastic by heating up the seal first.
Yeah maybe if I bought another pair of headlights I could give it a go, ive got a heat gun so that would be a fun video to make. Good idea thanks for that mate 👍🏽
Thanks a lot man, appreciate it. Yeah it looks a lot better like that, will probably go for a Sharan badge on the rear as pretty much everyone mentions it. Thanks again for your comment and support 👍🏽
@@SPOOLINUP no worries bro! That’s a good shout actually haha. I also recently invested in an OBDEleven device, it is an amazing bit of kit that actually works with the golf. Turns out my n75 valve is intermittent and doesn’t like boost after the remap haha🤙🏼 I think it was doing the same thing as yours was in your video on it.
I must look into that ODBEleven then if you say its good, ive got some cheap Euro Car Parts thing thats embarrassing to say the least. You know there is someone I talk to who has problems with his N75 after his map as well his boost was spiking until he changed it. Turns out one of my coils was on its way out as well. Glad you sorted it 👊🏾
@@SPOOLINUP yeh man I’ve tried a few different ones that claim to work for mk4’s but never even connect to the car haha. But this one was rapid to connect and scan! Very easy to use, I would definitely recommend it! It’s crazy, my N75 was apparently an open circuit according to the code, so boost was fluctuating massively! Bloody mk4’s 😂
The one I have is called Streetwise ODB Hahaha but it works to read codes and delete them etc so I cant complain. Wow so your N75 wasn't working and the boost was uncontrollable. How is everything now? Its good that the kit you bought to diagnose the car actually helped you.
Nice work, looks good! Looks like removal on the Golf is easy going. Doesn't seem to be the case for my Leon.. the Seat badge in the front is heavily faded and I would love to replace it but haven't quite figured out how to yet. Looks like the whole front needs to come off.. What's next for the Golf? Did you put on the brakes yet?
Hey man, thanks mate. Yeah it was easy enough to remove it all and get it all sorted. Have you checked to see if there is a tutorial for the Seat badge removal? I am sure you can easily do it if you give it a try and its well worth it. Next for the Golf will be the brakes hopefully at the weekend I can get them done mate 👍🏽 thanks for asking I hope you are well.
@@SPOOLINUP All good :) Have not found anything substantial on removing it, it's also not super important, I'll get around to it eventually. I'll have to remove the front in the future to install the FMIC anyway. Will you be making a video on the brakes? I want to do mine too in the future (though I won't have spares) and I'm very curious how you'll go about it.
Yeah thats a good idea, just do it when you do the FMIC and also anything else that you can do while the front is off, maybe fit a nice splitter or something. I'm planning to make a video on the brakes, im so glad you mentioned it the other day, I literally just ordered pads and some brake fluid so I can get them all changed over, I dont think I need anything else at the moment. Video shall come soon 👍🏽
Just bought my first car, mk4 Golf and your channel is perfect to help me with the mods I want to do! Thank you I appreciate you 🤝🏻

Looks better in the black 👍👍
Glad you agree, thanks Terry 👊🏾
I ended up doing a sharan badge fits snug looks perfect fitting in the gap left by the old one. Semi flush anyway tc!
same.

Great videos always helpful especially for those of us who own mk4s.
Respect to you man thanks for your comment 👊🏾
Got my mk4 gti mapped a few days ago and the thing had changed the car so much its mad!!!

looks like you need your eyebrow trimming 1:37 🤣🤣 good vid buddy👍
Hahaha mate that bloody microphone man if only I knew while I was filming. I watched all of the footage back and was like ahhhh ffs 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@SPOOLINUP lol so funny mate🤣🤣
Won't happen again 🙄🤣🤣

Hi, what type of spray paint was used on the badges? grey primer, matte black? then laqure?
Hey, I used grey primer, gloss black and then lacquer.
@@SPOOLINUP cheers chap 👍
@SPOOLINUP also a question what size wheel spacers do you have?
Looking good bro! I feel like I need to do mine again, starting to fade pretty bad haha. Rad to see the channel growing as well! 🤙🏼
