- The A4 has undergone a much-needed facelift. I say much-needed because when the ninth-generation A4 debuted a few years back, it looked far too similar to the model it replaced - which in itself had been around far too long. The result was that the new A4 couldn’t quite replicate the success of the iconic A4 B8, at least in the Indian market. Will the facelift given to the B9 could change that. Let’s take a look at the new car!

Audi has priced the car smartly compared to its competitors.
Well said if you need driver oriented car, it should be BMW. If you need rear seat comfort , it’s Merc. If you need both it’s Audi. Buy Jag if you want to standout. 👍🏻
Audi will always be ahead when it comes to technology. May it be Virtual cockpit or Lights.
Least reliability though
@@adityanihlani8804 I’ve been driving both Audi and bmw for last 6 yrs as of now their are no issues.
All German and British are most reliable.
@@tusharmahaley I have first hand experience as well. Haven’t owned the Audi, but I’ve owned their Skoda counterparts and they were a disaster. Some of my friends owned Audi’s and they had almost same problems as me because of the almost same drivetrain underneath.
And have to completely disagree on British being reliable. JLR is by far the most troublesome. Infact i’d rate them the most unreliable out of the Luxury brands. If I’d had to rate them on reliability, 1st would be the BMW hands down, 2nd Merc, 3rd Audi and 4th JLR.

Are Audi doing the right thing by not having diesel models in their line up as compared to Merc & BMW considering the way petrol prices are sky rocketing in India?
It’s more to do with emissions and the fuel quality concerns. The entire VW group in India has taken that stand. It certainly hurts business, but it’s better than battling warranty claims and consumer complaints
DSG transmission is only good for that performance thrill, not for daily commute , it changes down gears quite often . The old school Torque Converters feel far more relaxed & premium, specially in Luxury sallons
Better to buy skoda superb instead of Audi A4. Both are built on same platform. Superb has same engine and gearbox, similar features but way more space.
Skoda superb - price of A3, features of A4, comfort of A6, space of A8.

Skoda has really bad resales. The premium you are spending on A4 will be paid back when you sell it in the future. Why not go for the Audi badge then instead

@@prateekvinayak3135 he doesn't know much about cars from what he spoke. The respect the brand commands in India is high & Audi is a bit more good to drive due to difference in tuning of the drive trains and has lot more features to go for.
You only buy a Skoda if you really can't afford an audi. People keep saying this, but they were never in the market for an audi to begin with.

@@rahulkrish9840 Yes, a lot many people bought it at those prices. It was 39L OTR for the Premium Plus variant. It gradually went up when Audi cleared their stocks
What if someone drives at 100 and hit the car you are reviewing?
I hope their car had enough airbags to keep them alive. I know the A4 would keep me breathing as long as I wasn’t pushed off the cliff.
Quattro makes car heavier and so much more complex. Maintenance would be so much higher with this system.
In india a4 doesn’t come with quattro right ?

BS6 Diesel engines from Ford, TATA, Mahindra, Hyundai, KIA are not jokes.... They are emission compliant.... That's why they're selling....
True, but look at the difference in volumes for those brands versus VW group in India. The much larger problem is cost. The group is unable to price their cars competitively in the market and the cost of BSVI diesels will escalate them further, again not making much business sense. But yes, if Mercedes-Benz, BMW and J-LR can find a way out, I’m sure VAG can, too.

@@rohit_paradkar I keep what I wrote, you did not report the capacity of the trunk, you just said that it is not big enough to carry your family's luggage. Would it be too much to ask for numbers? For example, how many liters does it have?

That alloy wheel is an eye soar.. they borrowed it from old harrier .. they should give an option to change it

Quattro AWD would have increased the price and dropped the efficiency which is probably why they haven't introduced it. Having said that, a 3.0L petrol with Quattro positioned as an enthusiast car rivaling the M3 would be incredible to have as an option
Audi will definitely stand failure with new Audi A4.. Not worth the price...BMW 330i is the best

Skoda Superb beats it everywhere in the 0-100 even! That's ridiculous! So off the three Germans, Superb is still the best!

It is junk. Verna is more value for money if someone looking for features. A4 is fort wheel drive very bad.
You clearly don't seem to have a clue of what Audi is. Verna is literally a junk i have ever seen. Mostly you will go to heaven the moment you crash in 100+ speeds. AUDI WOULD keep you alive atleast.
