      Hey babe, I know it's a pretty late reply but still, I hope my answer will help you. I have Hashimoto thyroiditis and Hypothyroidism and I'm on medication. I'm following Susana's workouts from January, I have her workout calendar, the Low Impact one, and I picked this one up just because of my thyroid. We're all different and my body doesn't respond well if I push it too hard, I collapse and get ill, so for me works cardio that is not too fierce and I listen to my body when it needs a rest, sometimes I pause a workout for a minute and then I proceed. And on the other side, my body works pretty well with strength exercises. So, for me workout has to be not too long and doable, 1 hour max and Low impact program is exactly what I needed. Again, we're all different so you need to listen to your body, that's extremely important when you have thyroid problems. Will her workout help your thyroidism? Well, if you're on medication, you'll, of course, stay on medication because your body simply needs it, but will you feel better? YES! I'm much less bloated and my digestion is way better. Also, I'm more calm and collective, her workouts kinda help me to reduce the stress and this feels really good. Of course, you need to eat healthily, if you don't, no workout will do magic for you. And by eating healthy I don't mean some extreme diets, no, not at all, thyroid hates diets because they're stressful, but you need to pay attention to get all of the nutrients your body needs (proteins, fat, carbs, fiber, and other vitamins and minerals). Will you become stronger? Most definitely! Will you lose weight? Well, yes, slowly you will, probably much slower than healthy people but trust me, weight is not everything, your body will look different, stronger, and tighter. Owh, and yes, I don't know how bad it is with your thyroid, but if there comes a day when you simply can't work out because your energy is really low, don't do it. Be gentle to your body, listen to it, calm it down, do something that makes you feel good and the next day do the workout you left out or simply do the next one that is on the list for that specific day. What I want to say is, that if you'll be working out when your body simply can't handle it, you'll do more harm then good because this means stress for your thyroid and will work less and that's not something you want, it's counterproductive. I learned that the hard way. I hope my answer will help you and if you have any questions, feel free to ask, I'll gladly reply and help. Good luck on your workout journey and stay healthy. 💗
