VW 3-cylinder 1.4/1.2 Tdi engines are tough. Only serious weakness is the oil pump chain snapping - usually destroys the engine. City-driven stop-start cars more likely to be affected.

1.2TDI is much better motor than the 1.2 3cyl petrol. Great job here

1.9 tdi pd bkc engine is the best diesel engine ever made in my opinion. Don't know much about these engines but well engineered vws are

I usually forget to remove the drive flange and only realise when I can’t pull the box out😩🥵

Universal vinyl and rubber dressing
Always take the gearbox level plug out before the drain plug! If you drain the oil and then find the level plug is seized you have a problem!
Not really. Just go through reverse light switch or breather
vw easiest clutch change , just done a mini clutch and i'm still moaning - send it Baz
agree I used to lift transit boxes out in a race ,why do you use red rubber grease on pivot points when no rubber present
Gearbox casing looked oily were any of the seals leaking
Well Baz maybe you have covered this before when you're removing the battery from the cars how do you know your not going to lose radio codes
