Milwaukee does not package their tools like that they come in a box not in a cellophane wrapper

Great video! Thanks for putting more word out about these counterfeit Milwaukee batteries. Wish I would have done research and watched your video before buying a Milwaukee M18 12ah battery from eBay at a much lower price point. I didn't catch it at 1st but after using the eBay battery and realizing how terrible its performance was, I compared it right next to my genuine Milwaukee M18 12ah battery and there are a lot of differences between the 2. If I didn't have my genuine battery, I would have fallen for it. Now I have to waste time and fight eBay about a refund. I'm sure a lot of people have been duped and don't know any better. To the untrained eye, or in my case, without my genuine battery and knowing how it performs, I would have thought, wow, great deal and battery. Let's be honest, genuine Milwaukee batteries are not cheap. Everybody would like to save money and get the real deal but these eBay batteries are definitely not the real deal. They are fakes and counterfeits!
I should have listened to my conscience, if it's too good to be true, it isn't.

Send message to your seller first !! Tell them that you find out your batteries are fake you do not want them, they're dangerous and your willing to send them back. The will star battling with you trying to refine you half a price. Keep telling them no. Then claim with the eBay a refund. Choose that you received product that does not match description and make a comment that they are fake. You'll receive a full refund from ebay on a day and you will not have to send anything back.

Its sad how a person can't trust anyone anymore because of scum people like the ones who made these batteries. I myself prefer Milwaukee tools and we all know they aren't cheap. I for one don't have alot of money and it hurts the pockets when i do have to purchase a new tool. So to spend my hard earned mone on something i thought was a good deal just to be scammed by scum really upsets me. I hope Ebay and Amazon shuts these people down and hopefully they will be caught and charged.

I just paid 200.00 for an M-18 charging kit with 5.0 battery. I got it from Home Depot and atleast i know its not a fake.

Lol exactly. Sad to say you cannot trust anyone this days... 4 days ago I finally pulled the trigger on real ones and received delivery from Home Depot. Pack of 2 m12 (5.0 amp high power) battery's for $150. If you wondering, I did received a full refund for those eBay batteries

Not surprise about the fake batteries. It wouldn't be too hard for a factory to get a copy of the moulds for the plastics. I also have heard some of the oem factories do after hours manufacturing producing nearly the exact OEM parts but minus the actual specs. Kinda like putting 4ah cells into a 6ah labeled case. I honestly wouldn't trust leaving any battery on charge unattended unless in a steel container such as a closed tool box top or something. Having them catch fire is a fear of mine as well.

I'd use them just mark them with spray paint or something to let you know that they are not OEM. Just treat them carefully you will be fine

@@keysautorepair6038 That is crazy. I own 5 batteries purchased off ebay one of them I know is authentic because it was already repaired at a Milwaukee repair facility. I need to inspect the other 4 when i go back to work.
