    I think both trucks are great but I went with the Tremor for the towing yet is out of the box trail ready with most of the things I would have wanted to do to an FX4. I like being different too, wont lie about that. So many Tacos in the Vegas area, it is nice being different. The bonus, toss in even the Ford 91 tune and the power gets to 315hp/370tq with warranty. I think there was low hanging fruit that Ford could have done to make the truck even better but I am still digging the truck 10k miles into ownership.

    Look at the bend in their knees when driving. Looks like the complaint about Tacos pushing your leg out more forward are true. Ranger looks more comfortable, knee is bent a little more.

    • @GTGarageTalk
      @GTGarageTalk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Ranger definitely rode more upright. More chair like seating position.

  • @rustlesee
    @rustlesee ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Tacoma is slower, worse gas mileage, worse towing, fake hood scoop, horrible seating position and drum brakes. Cool truck, but the Ford beats it on so many levels.

      I bought a 2023 tacona TRD off Toad truck and regret that decision. Druving in northeast Tennessee i am lucky to get 15.5 to 17 5 mpg range. The 6 speed A/T transmission on our hilly terrain hunts for gears too much. Gounf to be dumping tge Tacoma asap. Mught buy a 2023 ranger xlt in tremor or fx4 packages.
      Would consider tge 2924 Tacoma if the seating position has indeed been changed. Tgat new 2.7 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine and 8 speed automatic transmission should help improve the fuel economy for anyone living in hilly regions like east tennessee, sourhwest Virginia and over in western nc.

    My money would be spent on the ranger. I have two step kids and now a grand son. The Toyota is way to expensive and the cab is way to small in the back for passengers and the head room on the Toyota is bad . The reason the Toyota is reliable is because they don’t change much at all over a long time.

    • @GTGarageTalk
      @GTGarageTalk  ปีที่แล้ว

      Very true on Toyota reliability.

    Sorry had both trucks and for all around in the mt of Central Pennsylvania the ranger out works the taco all day every day the taco is a toy the Danger Ranger is a work horse and over powers the taco period.The only thing taco beats the Ranger in is resale and I couldn't sell my taco fast enough after getting stuck in the snow covered mts,and as far as indestructible bed it only took a few loads of firewood to crack the thing.and if you spend 6 to 8 hours at a time in your truck unless your 18 years old your back and legs will hate you.Not to mentionthe trucks buckling where the bed and cab meet, they claim they dont fully box the fram so you get more flex for better articulation .My father-in-law is a taco fan to decades but hus truck never do alot of heavy work ,he keeps them for years but never racks up many miles.well his taco flexed real nice a year ago right in half .Not such a fan boy anymore.And all his construction trucks are ford's no Toyotas in a region where weather is brutal and salt snow and frigid winters take a toll on trucks that have to do more than rock crawl or playing around in the 🏜desert taco for boys ford for men.

    Most people don't care about watching the driver handle the ride. Give people a driver's view of the experience. That is why I gave you a down vote. It's an issue that you can fix, so have at it.
