Me being a single dude, almost out of debt and being used to living on very little, I don't see any huge issues with renting out there for a few years. I called an apartment complex about nine months ago. The rent for the one bed was about ~$1,300 - $1,400. They're asking about the same over here in Nebraska. Why not enjoy the mountains if I'm paying close to that for my current studio?? LoL
That is a very good point, I don't think that's a bad idea at all! Thanks for watching!
Great video. We moved a few months ago to Denver area. My wife is from here and after living in the Netherlands (I'm Dutch) and California (yes, we are one of those awful people as well..hehehe) . Most of the issues are nationwide, even some are global. I would love to meet more locals, so # 6 applies to me as well, i work 100% from home so I need to actively meet people. About #11, as a foreigner I try to keep out of politics, but it's a joke in the US, old men who thrive on emotions with no real plan. But that's a global thing as well.... Peace out!
Thank you so much! I’m glad to see we have a few people living here like yourself with some perspective! What part of the city are you in?
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for watching!!
Unfortunately, there’s too many depressed, irritable, unhappy people in Denver and Colorado in general. The biggest complaint I hear about from transplants is the long, intermittent and unpredictable winter weather. From the people originally from here, the main complaint is the transplants and unwelcome growth.
I appreciate you watching, and for the perspective!
They hate the growth, but love the money it brings. People want it all without paying the price.
As always, awesome informative video Jimmy.
Thank you so much, Shane! Means the world to me, my friend!
I've heard some about radon gas in Denver homes. Any information?
Hi! Radon is common in basements in the Denver Metro and going into the mountains. It is also extremely common for people to have mitigation systems in their basement, and for people buying - to request tests for radon and have one installed if they come back high.
@@destinationdenvercolorado Thank you so much for responding. Your videos are excellent. This information is helpful.
Get out of LODO to meet people.
That’s a true statement! Thank you!
