thought its design came from the 2 pesos silver.from.1921. And it commemorated the end of mexicos.war of.indep in 1821. It began in 1811. Great coin.

Hi Ricky! It looks like the 2 pesos and the gold Centenario from 1921 sported the same design, so yes you are correct as well. Thanks for that info!
