Great video. I don't share my personal game plan with anyone for obvious reasons but I can tell you, it is all important. One of the most important IMHO is having cash stashed with your PM's. The likelihood of cash being worth zero anytime soon is very small. It will be needed to get you by with whatever scenario you are facing. Thanks CM!

I prefer local bullion as you say but those 10 oz RCM and Perth Mint Dragon bars are hard (impossible) to pass up. The U.S. Mint is missing the boat on bars and tenth ounce buffaloes.

Florida you either buy Eagles or spend $500 to avoid sales tax. It's different in every state though.

Wow, $500!!? In Kommifornia with Newsolini, we have to pay $1,500 to avoid sales tax.

I wish I would have known how much prices would go up because I started in 2018. My LCS was dropping Eagles for $17, I would have bought him out LoL

10:05 PVC damage on coins results from improperly storing coins in soft plastic flips or other plastic coin holders containing PVC.
I used to collect coins, now I just buy the cheapest generic rounds I can find. At the end of the day if silver goes to 200 an ounce, premiums on specialty coins will go away. An oz of silver will be an oz of silver. It's all going to the smelter.Also, never buy fractional silver.
Never ever buy fractional silver!
$200 silver won’t happen in your lifetime.
In my state of washington, cash is king and the king says no tax on what you can't digitally trace or sell...

I am pretty lucky that the online dealer I go threw let's me make payments on my gold purchase at no extra cost. It allows me to make bigger purchases and to stay within my budget.

Here are some things I should have known when I started buying precious metals. I should have bought more bullion less numismatic coins. I should have bought more gold even if I could not afford to buy 1 oz - maybe 1/10th or 1/4th oz gold. I should have bought more gold Eagles and Maples, Silver Eaglrs and Maples because these have risen in value. I should have bought more limited minted key date numismatic coins classic Morgans, Peace, Canadian voyageur dollars- some have doubled or tripled in value. I should have saved some of my clad coinage to check for errors - you get good money for error coins even if they are not made of silver or gold.

Like your advice.. with stacking your own country mint.. I made a mistake at start, now im tying to rectify now.. been collecting for 2 years.. and at the start you just like everything you see! like a kid in a sweet shop.
Royal mint from UK quality control is the worst..
Austria always seem to be quality and designs, but problem down the line selling and taxes ..

I love Perth mint for the price and the quality of the gold, as well as Canadian for the quality and lower premium. I have more Perth fractional than I do US or Canadian. Also I cant seem to pull away from the 1 oz Perth gold as well for the same reasons. I’m in the states. In your opinion should I eat the bigger premium and focus on eagles and buffalos, is Perth and Canadian harder to liquidate? Great continent as usual. Rise and grind sir.
It really depends on your area or how you ever resell. I absolutely adore Perth Mint gold too, I normally would only get spot locally but I’m in it for the long haul.
Appreciate your input. My plan is to use it as a retirement supplement, or best case leave to my son. I have never sold anything I have acquired so the liquidation part is still a bit of a mystery. I’m in the Rocky Mountain region but may relocate back to my roots to a warmer southern state for the golden years. Thank you again.

Here, once ounce pays the same. 1 ounce is 1 ounce at the coin store. I wish the stores would share a little more on buffaloes, either on the sale or on the sell, if so I’d be all in on buffalos. But the premium is just too high.

Agree on stacking local bullion, especially sovereign coins. It gives your stack a prepper edge, and helps on the sell side.

I normally stick with pure silver or gold. As far as particular years, I try to stay away from that sort of thing because it’s more expensive. I usually go for as much weight as possible.

im in the us, no way im stacking eagles
1st time to watch your videos and damn you hit it right on the money, especially about tax laws, I am near 3 other states every single one is different with metals, 1 doesn't tax at all, 1 taxes none US coins and bars, 1 state taxes numismatic value, then my state taxes you if you buy less then $1000 worth of metals so depending on my budget dictates what LCS I am going to and #10 is a must where I live we have random power outages all it takes is some good gust of wind and I may go without power for 2 days so cash is very much so a need and I know so many people who only have a card 1 single card to their name and every time the power goes out they need cash loaned to them and you'd think after 25 or so years they'd know cash is king.
Maybe you should lend them cash and charge interest 😆 appreciate the comment Dave.
A great list that people need to consider. So many things that people learn late in the game. Capsules are great for these bars., I need to get some for my sunshine mint bars. What software did you use for the text in this video?

APMEX does sell small security boxes/safes.
They sure do.
Below TL15 is the UL for the US and S2 for Europe. Not as good as a TL15 but much better than a cheap safe. From what I gather, these safes will withstand 5 minutes of similar efforts as the TL15, which can handle 15 minutes of expert concerted efforts to break in to.
Something is better than nothing.
I like capsules for my 10 oz bars too, but the prices for them..😮

At least a TL 15 rated safe. Especially if you are insuring the contents. Gun safes can be pried open with a crowbar. Foreign metal have to be reported generally when selling 25 or more ounces. An IRS form will need to be filled out. I don't do collectibles. Worry that in a pinch, I couldn't get my investment back. I keep my bullion in tubes and never look at them. My monster box(s) remains sealed (more liquid, easier to sell back to the dealer ). The only commemoritive I have is the 225th Anniversary African American lady liberty. It has appreciated much. I'm a big fan of local bullion as well.

TL-30 is definitely the way to go. Used ones are much cheaper and work just as good as a new one. They are out there

Were do you buy your 10 oz bar capsule and were can you buy the canadian mint bar? My dealers here in Europe don’t sell them. I really like this design.
I usually buy locally. That’s a tough call because I have no clue about European dealers but usually there’s folks in the states who ship internationally but it defeats stacking because it’s a steep price.
