- A fake trailer for a movie that doesn't exist (but might someday).
This was stitched together using a combination of clips from a vacation with a few staged scenes in attempt to imply some sort of cohesive narrative.

Been looking at lots of SONY ZV E1, s5iix, S1H, BMPCC 6k footage recently. Cant deny the BMPCC 4k is still a killer. What an image.
It’s pretty hard to beat, especially for the price. I still love shooting with it too. That huge screen on the back is so much nicer than the small one on the S5IIX
Go for BMCC 2.5k if you want to have a cinematic look. 👍🎥
Yeah I haven’t tried that one yet but I’ve been eyeing some on eBay lol

Actually, yes! Well, a no-budget short at least. After making this and the teaser for the "sequel" I've been able to think through what the full story would be and have begun outlining it. I have every intention of making it happen.
@@brandonrude I believe it will be a nice short. You have something in the world of suspense, I was quite impressed with The First Law.
Looks good man! May I ask: for the night shots, what were your exposure settings (iso, aperture), especially for avoiding getting grain? Things you did in post as well to address that? I, just starting out and would love any tips on how to shoot in low light with the Pocket 4K. Thanks!
Thanks! For the night shots I think I shot everything at 1250 and 3200 ISO and then I was wide open at T2.2. Definitely got some noise in the footage so in post I added some noise reduction and also crushed the blacks a bit in the contrast curve and that helped a bit too.

This is beautiful Brandon. I just had one question, when you use BPM or VND did you have any colour changes due to IR pollution?
Thank you very much! I do notice some IR pollution, mostly with the 6-9 stop filter. There’s a little with the 2-5 stop one but not super noticeable really. I seem to notice it more with dark blue colors most.

Thank you! I always have the BPM on the lens first and then the VND on top. I generally always use the BPM, so this way it's literally always on and then I can easily swap the 2-5 stop VND for the 6-9 stop one when needed without having to worry about also moving the BPM from filter to filter.

Camera looks so good until you put a skin tone in the frame then it falls apart. Beautiful cinematography nevertheless. congratulations.
Thanks! In all fairness to the camera the skin tones could also be my weak color grading lol
