Love the video! In any situation with suspension, not just RCG, if the rebound speed is slowed down, will the rate at which the fork compresses also be slowed down? Can you give an expanded explanation of your master cylinder analogy?
I have a fox Rhythm converted with marzocchi coil and the new MRP lift damper /blue tune. I also have the tigon on the rear and struggling to get it to ride right. This is on a 23 evo elite alloy. I’m riding northstar tomorrow and going to try this. When you say full coast on rebound is that toward the - or the plus? Would the plus be adding more rebound? Thanks.
Be careful. Don’t rush into it. Simple root to practice on. Full fast is - direction. + is slower. 1 root full minus position If to fast 50% compression 1 root again If to fast 100% compression. 1 root again. If to fast dial rebound back To be honest I spent all day park riding Tigon on Ebike suspension is better platform. The tigon is inconsistent. Sometimes good sometimes bad. I am in 3rd bike with it and it’s been rebuilt 4th spring and I came to conclusion it will never be good at all times Riding with 5 psi in it works better. The degressive shim stack requires a little air to work right. But again it’s good 1 run bad another. Ohlins TTX cane creek progressive spring is what I recommend for stumpy or Spesh bikes
@@OtterMTBtech thanks man, really appreciate the response. We will give her hell and see what happens. lol. The lift damper hasn’t been pleasant either. Seems most people are say you need to choose 2 tunes down from what they recommend. I’ve never spent so much money on a bike only to be unhappy. Haha.
Yeah, thanks for your comment. I realize it’s not very family-friendly. Just think of it like watching the news you gotta be extreme trying to get views. I figure it’s middle-aged man who would watch this video but you’re totally right cool it down
thats a interesting name for a suspension system set up method
RCG from now on
Very interesting. I already discovered that I run my suspension with a pretty fast rebound. I will try your method
This is a great video, thank you so much!
Careful with the fast rebound go slow

I need to try this on my dirt bike. RCG indeed.
will this work on bikes that do not have a reflector on the seat post? asking for a friend who hates safety....
Shoot I think those are required. 😝
Otter's RCG suspension set up! Love it 🤣
Missed opportunity there, they could have extracted at least 60 clicks out of this 190° knob.
Marketing dept at Cane Creek are pulling their hairs
O boy love the humor

setting up a USD fork is the 69 method but we'll save that for another video-Otter
That reminds me, we need videos on Intend suspension.
Push fork too, but idk if u can get 1
I asked Push for suspension to demo. No answer, Darren did help me with allot of other stuff. Most of this stuff I do used.
@@OtterMTBtech yeah i figured. One can hope tho right? You’d be the first to review it
OTTER strikes again
RCG😂😂😂😂
Please never ever do this to your video (I mean in the beginning)

@@OtterMTBtechI didn’t mean to offend you. It is just hard watch those fast changing clips. Kinda stroboscopic. Cheers. I love your content!
O that part. Ok. Agree I hate over edited stuff. I tried it for while. I’ll chop that hit out thanks for tip
