I have the 36 fork and also this shock and I have no issues on it. I use it at bikeparks and long climbs and descents. I also have an elbow injury and without this setup I cannot ride due to the pain.
Just as you said in the video: I went for the Suntour voro coil. Love it. Only strange that I needed to go for a 400 lbs spring fory 75kg 🤯 according to severaly online calculators the 400 lbs is for 90kg riders 😵 ok ok. I know the kinematic of my bike plays a big role and not the shock itself 🤓
Glad you're spending the money for us, I'd like to dive into the olhins rabbit hole but it's hefty on the wallet. Ten minutes pumping, that's about nine minutes and a half more than the average on PH... Dudes on ebikes always stealing all our KOM's 😅
Otter talked about this at 3:17 starting with “Houston we have a problem.” All dual cylinder shocks work this way. When my X2 was new I had to cycle it ten to twenty times (x10 to 15 strokes each) to get the negative and positive air chambers equalized during inflation. Now that the X2 is broken in it’s not so time consuming but I still cycle it more than Fox says. There’s no downside to cycling air shocks, but big problems if you don’t equalize the chambers - as Otter noted.
It has inner and Outter air can that is where the double part comes from It did equalize after the first ride. I spent hour trying to make it equalize in garage and wouldn’t
@@OtterMTBtech TTX2Air owner here. You can get rid of the top out right from the start by pumping air only when shock is fully extended (kinda hard to do when the shock is compressing itself).
Not everyone is out to be ignorant on purpose. I like being educated, if I mispronounce something it's because I've never heard it said another way and was given no indication that it might be incorrect. Like having grown up always hearing Porsch-UH, until I finally watched a video where someone says it the right way. Then what happens? People will argue in the comments about how they say it the wrong way because that's the way they've always said it and claim forcing people to say it correctly is snobby etc etc. And then you wonder why people don't try to correct and educate each other more...

3:50 - “The bummer part of this is you get a ten minute pumping session, and my right hand gets enough exercise as is.” 😂😂😂😂😂
Glad you could enjoy the humor and not get upset

Full coil? Or full air
@@OtterMTBtech Full air. And i can tune it on the spot. Every click counts on Ohlins.

Page 4 of the manual: "Cycle the shock a couple of times to even out the pressure between the air chambers."
It didn’t work I tried that. I think a heavy compression certain
I have this shock on a Levo SL2 tuned for the bike ride mainly bikepark jumps etc 8 months now no issues feels good
OMG, the budget of this Otter! Does he wallpaper his nest with thousand dollar bills?
This bike channel is not profitable. I’ll say that.

Love the logically cryptic humor bro
God bless "my right hand gets enough exercise as is" hahahahah you legend
Luckily I don't have rubbish Specialized suspension, I have excellent Specialized suspension.
💯
Only the enduro is good sorry to say.
@@OtterMTBtechfinally someone who says it, specialized meat riding is crazy and no one bats an eye lol
Can you please do a vídeo about the cane creek dB Inline
Which is better Ohlins TTX2Air Shock or RockShox Vivid Ultimate RC2T ? Which one is softer on small bumps?
Coil is better.
Do you like it more then X2? I have both but IDK which one should I keep for my megatower? I have 38 Factory on the front.
Keep the one you like more 😂
Sell both for a coil
It fixed itself because the negative chamber equalized through cycling the shock

Mine wouldn’t not equalize I think you need to bottom it out to make it go
@@OtterMTBtech I don’t understand this double negative. Are you saying it DID equalize?

So this can handle hard enduro riding?
Or should just get the Ohlins coil? I ride an amish bike
Gotta match my rxf 38
Coil 💯
You're hyping it but it sucks? I don't get it.
Thanks

Why do Americans all mispronounce Öhlins? It's Öhlins not Ohlins
Why do foreigners judge Americans for mispronunciations and accent differences when they do the same thing?

You blew your chance to have your language as an international standard in 1945 so get used to life.
I'm done with AIR SHOCKS. Unless I'm peddling on trail.
🍻 me too.
it has an IFP, not a bladder
I assumed wrong . Your right
@@OtterMTBtechi thought also that i has bladder, but once it took it apart then was slightly disappointed
Entry level suspension. Ohlins has a lot of catching up to do
What’s better?
Please educate us. I might be in the market for a new shock next year, so I am very interested in any viable alternative that I can get. Thank you!
I sent my fox 38 for a rebuild & came back with a $800 x2 upgrade. 🫣
