Work on the Western & Eastern Freight Corridor was sanctioned in 2006 by the then Prime Minister Dr. Singh. As of 2023, only 3 sections of this mammoth project are operational. And work on the remaining is ongoing. When you give credit, why are you only giving to Prime Minister Modi? You should also give it to the PM who approved it and started the work! Isn't it?
I have no issues with you praising Mr. Modi, but the work and credit should also be given to Dr, Singh for starting this very important project. Why this bias? Or are you suggesting that Dr. Singh who sanctioned the project in 2006 had no contribution?
Don't undermine the efforts of congress..i travelled in this route in 2009 and construction had begin..it was under congress rule WDFC was sanctioned..Before modi regime Indians were not living without any infrastructure..Its all Dr Manmohan Singh efforts India has grown to such extent.
Think about Delhi and Bangalore metro project..Shatabdi and Rajdhani were already running above 130 kph from 1975 if u remember

Is India the only country to run double stack with electric locomotives? That’s a huge achievement!!
In the US they use diesel locomotives with double stack. And because the trains are huge they use as many as 10 x 6000HP locomotives in a “distributed power” mode.
Only India and China have such advanced infrastructure. No other country can run stacked containers with electric locomotives.
This train engine alone pulls this and generates 12000horse power or more
America needs desiel engines unless they want to significantly reduce the length of the freight trains
