What a power play, focusing on Peter, who gave the worst starting offer, using him to pull the other dragon's terms down to what the entrepreneurs wanted and then pulling the rug from underneath them and opting with Tej. He definitely felt like the right partner for this business. This whole pitch and negotiation was fascinating

I think Tej was the best Dragon for this company and thought the look one Peter's face was brilliant!

So often we think that its the Dragons who call the shots at the Den, but every now and then you have a wake up call like this. This is a fine example of a business that travelled the entire journey from hustle to whistle... Well done you champs👍
It depends. If the entrepreneurs are really good and they've already built a business, the Dragons don't call the shots. if there isn't much yet, the Dragons do call the shots.
Entrepreneurs like this couple could have easily have found outside investors before appearing on the show. That's why we don't see many appearances where the company has a fairly accurate valuation and even a short history of success.

This was one of the best pitches I've seen. I loved everything about it from the product itself, the offers from all five dragons and the sheer brilliance of the negotiations
It always helps when they don't have crazy evaluations and already have substantial product sales. The people who go on the show asking for 6 figures for 2-10% and don't even have a working prototype always make me wonder if they're always so delusional. Do they not have any friends or family members willing to enlighten them? More importantly, do they not bother to watch a few episodes before their appearance??
Limited market though.
That was master salesmanship by reflecting away from the target dragon, getting Peter to agree on the terms and then cherry picking the correct dragon for the business. There was a lot of thought put into this pitch and seriously enjoyable watching the roles being reversed.

The dragons are SOO much nicer when they know they will definitely make money. Usually they would all say they are out if they asked Peter to match someone else offer in front of them and not even asking anyone else.

This is a great programme! I´d be happy to be in business with any of the panelists. They´re so much more credible than any of their equivalents on other versions of this programme in other countries.
This episode is absolutely brilliant! Two great people. A great product. Very well presented. Each dragon took the time to ask respectful questions...and they got respectful sensible answers. The numbers started flying...the game got underway...moves were made (sometimes in the shadows)...and the finale was a shocker to everyone!
Superb,the best pitch I think I,ve seen on here,down to earth couple who deserve every bit of success.

They were smart. By only asking Peter to go down, it meant the other dragons had to work to match the offer. If they just asked Tej to go down, they probably would’ve had to give away more equity.
