I wonder what would happen if you ran two of the white lights on the outside and one blurple light in the center and vice versa

So I thought that you had a slight preference for the white lights (especially considering what you said that you can see issues easier on the plants and the light is not as annoying) but then at 6:26 you said:” For most things purple lights are going to be better. They are going to be more efficient and get higher yields” What did you mean by that? I am confused now. Which lights should I get? 😊
Simply put either will work well! At my farm we used specific wavelengths without other colors which added to the efficiency, but with the barrens they don't have the customize option for that. So they are both fairly similar in yields with very minor differences. I'd purchase whichever you prefer!
I start in white light then move to red. it is easy to switch shelves hard to switch lights.

Awesome video! I see you have 3 rows of lights, is that correct? I installed 4 rows of the Barrina pinkish white lights because they did not have the reflectors. Will my microgreens wilt under led?
3 lights is the sweet spot! I would try reducing down to 3 lights for 4 trays and you should get great results!

There are so so many led grow lights now it would be difficult to comapre them all. But the Barrina Leds are by far the best least expensice option I've found and they work wonderfully for microgreens!
I see you have a large black tray that is holding your other 1020 trays, do you have a link for that tray? I assume you bottom water all those 1020 trays at the same time using that larger tray. Do I have that right? Very cool!
Yes, that is the plan! I am setting up an automatic watering system, but its not functional just yet. They are 2x4' flood tables. You should be able to buy them at most hydroponic stores.

Are these the T5 or T8 Barrina white lights?
They are T8 sized
Are you using T5 or T8 lights? Is one or the other preferable?
They aren't either T5 or T8 as those are types of flourescent lights. These are LEDs :)
T5 and T8 also are sold as LED grow lights. I am trialing Barina 4 foot T8s, 1 per shelf and Im not sure if I need 2 lights. Broccoli, especially, is much shorter on the ends of the trays and great toward the center. Based on other sources that I have been watching, with T5 LED grow lights, you need 2 or 3. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks!

Highly recommend 3 lights per 4 trays (1 shelf). This will provide you will the highest yields and best quality microgreens!@@56patdale
