    The growers choice roi-e720 made the list again!!! That is my favorite light that ive used. I really want the roi-e900! Ive had 20 some leds now. from the warranty to the end results are just better are just better with GC. Warranty isnt a 5 year but we only pay for 1 year then u pay everything besides parts they actually cover u those 5 years. Im a proud growers choice user and led grow light depot customer. I just got the master controller and uv from u gugs couple weeks ago excited to see the difference.

      If I were u get an apelila 8000 just give it a try u can never go wrong with an extra plus it’s an unbelievably great light and very cheap 60$ sometimes on eBay and it outperforms my spider farm 4x4 and mars hydro same size amount and has a bloom boost switch that really puts down the flower density it has to be this brand a lot of lights have this style but they used awesome diodes in this brand I stopped using my 500$ spider farm and went back to one of these apes for the 3x3 I guarantee you’ll be glad u got one if not I’ll buy it for what u paid I’m that confident 👍

    Hey bud thanks for the video. It made me think about - the fact that all par charts I can find are all done in a certain size space, depending on the light size of course.
    My question is what's the best bang for your buck with NO walls or tent? I grow in an open space - more, or less. (basement with panda film).
    Thanks for all you guys do for the community. Love that mint bar by mammoth led. Just out of my range for sure!!!

    • @FullCircleTravis
      @FullCircleTravis 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Just build a panda film curtain that is attached to your light with the footprint you want. Cut it so that it's the same length as your ideal light distance. So if your ideal height is 16'', make it 16" long below the light. When the tops hit the bottom, raise the light. You might need to add some weight or staple cardboard to panda film to stiffen the bottom edge to prevent blowing around, and to keep the shape. Leaving the plants open allows for fans to circulate air below the canopy.

    Thanks for the great advice on a topic I know makes me feel stupid when trying to understand all the charts and numbers that get posted about the various lights. Dirty secret I actually bought most of my current DWC set up from both the Chinese and US mega online retailers. So please understand that I’m a lazy consumer.
    Anyway I think that it’s a really good thing that cheaper brands are able to make lights with the same or very similar components for a budget price point. I’m running a 4x4 tent with 4x 150w draw power Viparspectra xs 1500 with the Samsung mean well combo and I couldn’t be happier

    I DESPERATELY NEED SOME HELP DECIDING. I WAS GONNA BUY AN ENTIRE TENT KIT AND THESE ARE Samsung Diodes. Even the intake/outtake fan is part of the programmable smart system. So on the tent is a control panel or use your app on phone.

  • @actionjksn

    The ProGrow 1800 is the deal honestly and at $420 gets you get a very capable system. The problem is that thing is almost impossible to find. I found one place that looked like they had it but then it said not in stock. Another place only sells to businesses and you have to buy a minimum of 12 lights.
    I found at Costco a set of 4 recessed LED lights that are 6,500k on the high setting and 75 watts for $20. I'm going to get 2 or 3 sets and mount them close together on a piece of plywood and see how that does. I think it will perform fine for a small crop if you keep them close to the plants.

      I agree with what you are saying, if anyone is thinking of starting to grow indoors an on a budget, at least 50% of your budget should go to the purchase of your light, there are so many good budget lights out there, light MARSHYDRO, SPIDERFARMER, VIPERSPECTRA,

    • @roywarriner8441
      @roywarriner8441 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@scottbowron784 I agree, lighting has been far more than 50% of initial cost but it is close now. Tents, fans and filters have been creeping up in price while lights are becoming more affordable and efficient.

    Maybe the Diablo V2 or the mammoth? Does the mammoth come with UV lighting or is it adaptable? I am new to this LED switching over from HPS.

    These lights are all way too much money both in terms of cost and electricity. I use a Happy Lead Procyon Pro. It’s made in the usa, only uses 68 watts. I had a spider farmer sf2000 and the happy leaf produces twice the results and plants that look way healthier. I have 4 tomato plants growing under it now and they are doing phenomenal. I bought my lights for $170.

    Spyder farmer has been awesome! All these lights are great. So many variables indoor growing. Don’t think spending a grand for a light, turns you into a master. Stay learning and stop listening to the bros. KISS keep it simple stupid

    • @brasco8721
      @brasco8721 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A grand for a light is nothing when you think about what that light can produce. Just one grow should literally cover all expenses and then some.

      @@brianwatson8351 Ok yes, but why are you focused on people who aren't skilled?

    • @brianwatson8351
      @brianwatson8351 ปีที่แล้ว

      The original comment was exactly that. You don’t buy a thousand dollar light to learn. Do you work for a lighting company or just a fan boy?

    • @brasco8721
      @brasco8721 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@brianwatson8351 I could honestly care less about beginners(too many bs channels already cater to this), however; if they have the funds to start off with a high quality light then good for them. It will actually save them time and money in the future after they learn the necessary skills to maximize the better light output. Your light is literally the biggest single upgrade you can buy for an indoor grow and will have the most drastic changes in yield and plant structure, followed by CO2. A high quality light is even more important to me as I run a closed loop system with co2 monitors & controllers, AC, Dehumidifier, humidifier etc. Is that last line supposed to be an insult? Because I'm neither. Do you enjoy supporting Chinese companies or just a broke boy?

  • @suki4410
    @suki4410 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Someone who just want to get rid of his 1000 watts HPS only needs 500 Watts in LED, because it is twice as effichent as HPS. Most people will not need more than 200 watts of LED.

    these lights are all far too expensive. i just need a light for a couple months while i save up for a root barrier that cost $600
    not to mention the names of these lights are hilariously bad.
    im planting a bamboo and want to get the area ready so it doesn't overtake the yard. i have to keep it in a $20 2 gal planter for a bit.
    if i buy one of these lights it'll be winter before i can afford the stuff i actually need.

    • @jusalilbettathanmost3613
      @jusalilbettathanmost3613 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Better put it on a saucer. If those roots touch the ground in anyway, they will be off an running. You won't even know until it's to late. Once it roots into the soil/ground even diesel fuel won't get rid of them. Then you will a backyard punji pit
