i recommend watching "absolutely ruining a $36,000 minecraft tournament" and " losing the world record bed wars winstreak" i feel like those are what he is know for the most without watching all his vids. there is also him wreaking minecraft monday all the time but those are multiple videos that are an hour long each

MVP++ is a rank u can buy a monthly subscription to, but the PIG+++ rank is only for technoblade and will only be his for the life of the server. (The only one with custom rank)
30:55 His rank is Pig+++ because he won minecraft monday 4 out of the 14 times and the only reason Techno doesn't have more wins is because the admins of the event tried to heavily nerf him but even with the nerfs he still was always at least top 3 in individual score. He has about the same skill in minecraft as Dream so you know that he is god tier at minecraft if he is compareable to Dream.

The OF on his cape, I believe stands for Opti-Fine. It's an optimization mod for Minecraft that helps the game run better, allows you to zoom in, and allows you to use shaders, which can make the game look almost like real life.
The pig rank is unique to only Techno. Simon Hypixel gave him Pig rank for his first win in Minecraft Monday's. Hypixel then added a plus for every subsequent win that Techno pulled.

He spent almost a whole year on the potato war. Not 4 months. lol. As for the minions, the absolute max is 24 minions. The number you can place is reliant on how many of them you have made before. the more you make, the more you can place. PVP doesn't exist in hypixel skyblock, except in the colosseum specifically for PVP

The normal Skyblock is a gamemode where you startoff on an island with little to no items. On the hypixel server you also start of on an island but then theres a portal that leads to another world with infinite resources. You can level skills and grind for gear. Basically an mmo.

I think you can watch Techno's "the hypixel skyblock experience" video. He goes more into the fundamental concepts/differences of Hypixel Skyblock so that you know more about the things he talks about in the next two videos.
The PIG+++ is a custom made rank given by the owner of Hypixel himself for Techno only :D. Techno was supposed to only have the pig rank when he finally has 10 mil subs, but in minecraft monday week 1 Hypixel challenged him if he won, then he will be given the pig rank for 1 week. After week 1 Hypixel challenged him again that he will get a + for every win he got. Techno only won 4 out of 13 weeks because he was nerfed so hard, as he is the best player there (he has never left the top 3 individual score, and often placed first) and there was a glitch that cost Techno the first place on the week 7. After that Hypixel challenged Techno again that if he uploads a video once per week, then he will be able to keep the PIG+++ rank permanently without having to have 10 mil subs (Techno is known for his bad upload schedule, he only uploads once per 1-2 months, there was even a time when he didn't upload for 3 months). And that's the story of the pig rank.
I just got done watching the potato wars trilogy, and as someone who doesn't watch much of Technoblade's other videos, I came to the conclusion that Techno is a very interesting man.
In skyblock there is a purse for carry around money. But if you die you lost alot. He puts all his money in the bank so if he dies he doesnt lose too much.
Heres a bit of random context: Pig+++ is an unique rank given to technoblade by the owner. The 15 mil water bottle mentioned was referencing the time dantdm put a waterbottle on auction in hypixel skyblock which got sold for 15mil coins. Also squidkid is actually a college student. The next 2 parts are also really amazing you should definitely check them out.
This is Hypixel skyblock which is much more different than regular skyblock (Can't really explain). He said it would take 8 months to get the money back not to make the minions. Diamonds have pretty small value in Hypixel skyblock. I don't know how old squid kid is but i'm pretty sure they are around 16. Jerry is satan he can't be stopped please help he's coming for m- Enchanted is a compressed form of an item. Vip, Vip+, MVP, MVP+, MVP++ are all ranks you can buy on the hypixel shops that let you do a few cosmetics and choose maps. (Not PTW). They can be killed if they drop lava on them or send them to the void but PVP is off. You can kick and ban people from your island and there is a private option. Pig+++ is a special rank just for techno. Hope this helped and if you have any more questions just ask!

I've played Minecraft for like 10 years, but I usually just play console vanilla and build houses and forts and stuff and never really "play" the game. Needless to say the first Dream vid I watched was a wake up call, so now I'm on a quest to learn what I've missed out on!
To give a bit of an update on the whole "can he get whitelisted off the island" thing, yes he can! He can't just kill them but he can kick them off the island. The issue is that he would have to be online to do so, and Technoblade's whole reason for AFKing is that whenever anyone is online the efficiency goes down. He could have just set the island to private with no repercussions but he didn't know his minions were being sabotaged and Squid is also an aspiring streamer / youtuber at this point and wants his viewers to be able to visit his island

I've never watched any of your vidoes before, you popped up on my recommends because I watch Technoblade. And I gotta say, I'm like 10 seconds into this video and I already love it.
I would DEFINETLY recommend watching the other 2 parts. This man is extremely smart and this video doesn't even scratch the surface of how insane everything gets. Even in other videos with his friends, they talked about just how dedicated and scary some of the results were. But I'd definitely watch more Techno content! He has so many amazing videos and some of my personal favs have been: Ruining a 35,000 MC Tournament, Skeppy tries to troll me but I troll him first , his MC Monday streams are amazing, his SMP Earth(1st. The Empire Begins, 2nd. That Time I Conquered SMP Earth, 3rd. Minecraft but we cyberbully a small child, 4th. SMP Earth: Battle of the pit) So We Won the Minecraft Championships I'd also check out the Dream SMP members/Animatcs. They're all amazing peeps on there and the RP is amazing, it could honestly be a movie with all the on the spot acting. More MCYT's I'd check out would be: (has two channels) Calvin/Cxlvxn, XNestorio, Philza, WilburSoot, TommyInnit, Eret. You might even enjoy some Sleepyboisinc (TommyInnit, WilburSoot, Philza, and Techno) content. They're a chaotic group with Tommy being the younger brother, Wil being the middle child (even tho he's older then Techno), and Phil being their dad. (As quoted by Wilbur and the rest of the fandom) My most favorite recent one was of the Terraforming the Moon on Wilburs channel. (I am so sorry this is all over the place, its currently 5:09AM rn and I haven't slept and I'm extremely tired so I hope you have a good day or night ^^)

The water bottle he was talking about was from one of Dantdm's hypixel skyblock video where he "took a bath in skyblock" and the put the water from the "bath" into a bottle and put it on auction. (Then he got really rich from that)
Skyblock on Hypixel is actually more like an rpg game. It allows upgrading gear, as well as mutiple bonuses from different playstyles like combat to fishing. It also lets you play mutiplayer on an almost runescape like map where you can visit weird locations and play with friends. Pretty cool
The way squid kid was being sabotaged is because he put his minions too close together, but techno blade didn’t do that so he can’t be sabotaged using the same technique

5:00 The thing with Technoblade is that a lot of his iconic content is from streams. Obviously, that's not to say his videos aren't great, but like his MCC and Minecraft Monday's streams are what really kill me from laughing and from his awesome skills lol. As for the minions, the absolute max is 24 minions. The number you can place is reliant on how many of them you have made before. the more you make, the more you can place.
PVP doesn't exist in hypixel skyblock, except in the colosseum specifically for PVP

The normal Skyblock is a gamemode where you startoff on an island with little to no items. On the hypixel server you also start of on an island but then theres a portal that leads to another world with infinite resources. You can level skills and grind for gear. Basically an mmo.

I think you can watch Techno's "the hypixel skyblock experience" video. He goes more into the fundamental concepts/differences of Hypixel Skyblock so that you know more about the things he talks about in the next two videos.
The PIG+++ is a custom made rank given by the owner of Hypixel himself for Techno only :D. Techno was supposed to only have the pig rank when he finally has 10 mil subs, but in minecraft monday week 1 Hypixel challenged him if he won, then he will be given the pig rank for 1 week. After week 1 Hypixel challenged him again that he will get a + for every win he got. Techno only won 4 out of 13 weeks because he was nerfed so hard, as he is the best player there (he has never left the top 3 individual score, and often placed first) and there was a glitch that cost Techno the first place on the week 7. After that Hypixel challenged Techno again that if he uploads a video once per week, then he will be able to keep the PIG+++ rank permanently without having to have 10 mil subs (Techno is known for his bad upload schedule, he only uploads once per 1-2 months, there was even a time when he didn't upload for 3 months). And that's the story of the pig rank.
Somehow it's more legendary than I ever thought it could have been! lol

In skyblock there is a purse for carry around money. But if you die you lost alot. He puts all his money in the bank so if he dies he doesnt lose too much.

This is Hypixel skyblock which is much more different than regular skyblock (Can't really explain).

Diamonds have pretty small value in Hypixel skyblock.

Enchanted is a compressed form of an item.
Vip, Vip+, MVP, MVP+, MVP++ are all ranks you can buy on the hypixel shops that let you do a few cosmetics and choose maps. (Not PTW).
They can be killed if they drop lava on them or send them to the void but PVP is off.
You can kick and ban people from your island and there is a private option.
Pig+++ is a special rank just for techno.

I've played Minecraft for like 10 years, but I usually just play console vanilla and build houses and forts and stuff and never really "play" the game. Needless to say the first Dream vid I watched was a wake up call, so now I'm on a quest to learn what I've missed out on!

To give a bit of an update on the whole "can he get whitelisted off the island" thing, yes he can! He can't just kill them but he can kick them off the island. The issue is that he would have to be online to do so, and Technoblade's whole reason for AFKing is that whenever anyone is online the efficiency goes down. He could have just set the island to private with no repercussions but he didn't know his minions were being sabotaged and Squid is also an aspiring streamer / youtuber at this point and wants his viewers to be able to visit his island
I saw squid did a whole video on it, I haven't watched because I try to go into all of these blind when possible
i would love to see a hypixel skyblock playthrough, i watched it before and after i played it and it was way diffrent, and you are like the perfect youtuber for it

I would DEFINETLY recommend watching the other 2 parts. This man is extremely smart and this video doesn't even scratch the surface of how insane everything gets. Even in other videos with his friends, they talked about just how dedicated and scary some of the results were. But I'd definitely watch more Techno content! He has so many amazing videos and some of my personal favs have been:

Skyblock on Hypixel is actually more like an rpg game. It allows upgrading gear, as well as mutiple bonuses from different playstyles like combat to fishing. It also lets you play mutiplayer on an almost runescape like map where you can visit weird locations and play with friends. Pretty cool

The way squid kid was being sabotaged is because he put his minions too close together, but techno blade didn’t do that so he can’t be sabotaged using the same technique
