Alicent thought her intentions and her being involved meant something, but it didn't. That's the realization she is grappling with.
There seems to be a theme with rhaenrya when she gets it on with others . She slept with ser Criston Cole after daemon ditched her in the city, she then marries laenor and after they couldn’t concede a child she sleeps with harwin. After his death then the faked death of laenor she gets with daemon. After their fight and he leaves her she then gets it on with mysaria. It’s like she needs affection from someone when she is alone and no one is by her side. To which mysaria seems to be aware of and perhaps is following what larys strong is doing with Aegon.
I’ve always been a fan of Daemon (despite his rogue tendencies) but seeing him dream about his brother then waking up and truly mourning him made me truly love him.
Also, Seasmoke was formerly ridden by Laenor (Rhaenyra's allegedly dead husband). So Adam's resemblance of looks with Laenor, with him being of colour and dreadlocks might've reminded Seasmoke of him. That might be another reason why Seasmoke chose Adam apart from him also being a Velaryon bastard just. I think the two brothers are eventually going to fulfill the need of dragon riders that team Black lacks. Hugh Hammer is there as well, I think he might as well have some shared bloodline with Targaryen's. Also I would love to see what bigger dragon already resides at Vale which Rhaena saw the burnt field of. All these filler episodes will be worth it, when we'll see a swarm of these godly beast flying towards each other in the battle.
If the man with his child is indeed a dragon rider, then Rhaenyra will have a big problem if he fights at her side. Because as it turns out here, he knocks down another of his kind to get what he wants, for his own benefit. Typical traitor material. If such a person fights at Rhaenyra's side and gets a better offer at some point, he will betray her.
I kinda like they did this with Seasmoke. It's a weird situation how Laenor abandoned him, so Seasmoke could still be bonded. Seasmoke would be looking for Laenor and then finds Laenor's brother. Bastard brother but still brother.
Alyn said plainly that Corlys would not ever acknowledge both himself and Addam as his sons, so it's pretty obvious that both of them are Corlys' illegitimate sons. We will see more of them.
Sir Stephen Darklyn might have been able to claim Seasmoke but he showed fear, looked like the dragon sensed it and changed his mind. He accepted him but did not choose him, great details. Those looked like dead sheep? Might be Sheepstealer the wild dragon? Interesting to see where they go with that!! :D
@@SSW777They gave Nettles arc and dragon to Rhaena. That's probably why Martin made that post about how the show put a dragon in the vale while they are not nomadic creatures. Martin isn't happy.
if Alyn and Addam are both Corlys' bastards that means Addam is Laenor's half brother. Seasmoke might have chose Addam because he reminds Seasmoke of Laenor, his previous rider.
Not them giving every idea to Aemond to make him seem smart while having Daemon doing nothing when he had the Riverlands within the first few months (before Rhaenys even died). The triarchy was Otto’s idea, because he knew they hated Daemon from the Stepstones era. Addam is also Corlys’ son, they said that. Also, he is the older one in the book, no idea here. They both had silver hair in the book. Aeriana was made up. There was never a princess called that and the only Targaryen princess to marry outside the Targ-Velaryons was Rhaenyra’s grandmother Daella, mother of Aemma Arryn. The wild dragon shouldn’t be at the Vale. They don’t leave Dragonstone, Driftmark or the Dragonpit. Daemon did a lot of things for others, mostly his family. He actually did get Mysaria pregnant in the book, and she was a Lyseni dancer, not a prostitute. She had the Lyseni look: silver hair. She lived with Daemon at Dragonstone and he gave an egg for the child, which made Viserys angry, so he made Daemon send her back to Lys. She lost the baby during the trip and Daemon never forgave Viserys for that. Daemon actually gathered an army to fight for Viserys’ claim during the council of 101, considering it was against Laenor, who was backed by the richest house. He actually took Stone Hedge from the Brackens himself with the aid of the other river houses. Elmo and Kermit Tully, the actual Lords were Rhaenyra loyalists (while Grover wanted to support Aegon, so they waited until he died to announce). This Harrenhal plot never happened. Daemon went before Luke died, Mysaria organized B&C at his behalf, and he got the riverlands for Rhaenyra before Rhaenys died (which was over 6 months after Viserys’ death). The timeline is all fucked and they are giving Daemon basically the opposite of what the book says he did.
In the books, Nettles who has no Targaryen blood rides Sheepstealer. I guess they changed it in the show and Rhaena will claim him that’s the wild dragon that’s in the Vale, Which is great change but I wish we saw nettles 👍 we also see Seasmoke chooses his rider. Slowly team black is gaining an army. Super excited!!!
Are you sure Rhaena rides Sheepstealer. She has a dragon morning later and sheepstealer is one of the dragons which survives so she gets two dragons. I’m fine with it but if true that’s a big change
Daemon actually does get a new lover in the books. Her name is nettles but the showrunners have confirmed they are not introducing her in the show. I think its because she is a teenager and they wanted to avoid having a problematic romantic relationship with a guy in his forties and a teenage girl. Which is a shame since she is actually a pretty badass character who even tames and rides a dragon called sheep stealer.
The Tv version is a PC garbage, all male characters are portrayed as weak or idiots without exception! Especially in season 2... It's so cringe to watch sometimes! 😂
Alyn (the one with blonde hair) and Addam the one with black hair with dreads. Seasmoke (dragon) chose Addam as shown at the end of this episode where he is chased by Seasmoke. In the second episode, Addam (the guy with black hair with dreads) had already seen Seaamoke flying along the beach in the same region where they are in this episode.
Respect to House Beesbury. Lyman Beesbury was the master of coin who was killed for saying Rhaenyra was queen when everyone else stayed silent. Now they are tying up the Reach, maybe with some other houses that keep their oaths to Viserys that Rhaenyra was his Heir.
@@hi-ls6lt I am talking about real world consequences. Martin likes to base his books on European history, but dislikes the logic behind events. Killing a nobleman has consequences, even for a king.
All three Rhaenyra's kids with "Laenor" have dark hair but they are of Targaryen blood whle Alicent's kids are all of Hightower's as well but they all have blonde/silver hair (presumebly that Daeron has the same hair as his siblings). Even Jon Snow is not blonde. So the hair color is not the determenation of Tagaryen bloodline.
The wild dragon in the Vale is Sheepstealer. Ser Seffon Darklyn (the knight who was burned trying to claim Seasmoke) was the person who was with Rhaenrya when she snuck into Kings Landing, as well as the son of the man beheaded by Criston Cole in a previous episode. Also, the cut Alicent gets in this episode mirrors the one she gave Rhaenyra in season 1.
Fun fact: In the books, it was Ser Steffon Darklyn who brought Viserys I crown to Rahenyra and told her about the usurpation Also, he didn't have any Targaryen blood, he just tried his luck
Aemond and Rhaenyras are alienating their councils, Aemond council fears him and thus their loyalty isnt truly there and they are too afraid to speak up and then to insult Larys burns the bridge to one of your smartest and most resourceful a team of Otto and Larys would be a dangerous combination. Rhaenyras council doesn't respect her and I don't think her being a woman is the main problem but rather she comes of a indecisive when it comes to leading and her response is always for herself to just rush in which is impulsive, similar to Aegon who most people call dumb for his implusiveness yet don't call her out for hers. Those who don't want to rule are best suited, Aegon was also someone who didn't want to rule, I know that was a statement designed to show Rhaenyras is best suited but recently she has been seen as someone who wants her throne and wishes to rule while Aegon only took it because for the first time he believed his father saw him and actually loved him and then when he helped the small folk he finally felt good about himself and now its out of vengence for his son he never wanted it but as he took it he wanted to do right by it
I knew dude was burnt toast as soon as he agreed to try to ride that dragon. You know they got to make an example of him, he's that side character they put on just to die😂

4:42 This didn't all come about because of Alicent misunderstanding Viserys. It was going to happen no matter what. The Small Council already had plans to crown Aegon, and would have done it anyway. Alicent thought her intentions and her being involved meant something, but it didn't. That's the realization she is grappling with.
Well I'm sure certain people are 'planning' who will become the next president. Doesn't mean it is going to happen no matter what.
”I need to know which brother is the rider” lol obviously Addam since Seasmoke came to him
36:36 MY MAN'S WISEST WORDS
Yall are so fast with the uploads. great episode
They have been consistently among the first all season.
The best reactors also that isn't afraid to show the actual show
Remember seasmoke was flying above addam while he was finding crabs in episode 2
Yet when Jace said the same thing everyone got mad for him trying to clash with his own mother.
I kinda like they did this with Seasmoke. It's a weird situation how Laenor abandoned him, so Seasmoke could still be bonded. Seasmoke would be looking for Laenor and then finds Laenor's brother. Bastard brother but still brother.
Achara: Maybe he’s a tasty snack.
You’re damn right he is 😏
The other guy was simply not black enough..
@@voodjin Seasmoke has preferences 😅😂
Alyn said plainly that Corlys would not ever acknowledge both himself and Addam as his sons, so it's pretty obvious that both of them are Corlys' illegitimate sons. We will see more of them.
Aegon and Larys, Daemon and Alice, Rhanerys and Mhysaria.
All 3 have found dangerous counterparts.
chill man, achara calls so many shots (that are spot on) before and she never loses her mind XD
“I need to know which brother it was” ??????
Right? Lol
mysaria"s voice is alluring and shes gorgeous
Sir Stephen Darklyn might have been able to claim Seasmoke but he showed fear, looked like the dragon sensed it and changed his mind. He accepted him but did not choose him, great details.
Those looked like dead sheep? Might be Sheepstealer the wild dragon? Interesting to see where they go with that!! :D
I think it is pretty obvious what is going to happen. Major change from the book but I don't really mind.
@@Madagon367 What is the change?
@@SSW777They're most probably gonna have Rhaena claim Sheepstealer instead of another character.
@@Madagon367 Rip to Nettles, one of the best characters in the Dance 🫡
@@SSW777They gave Nettles arc and dragon to Rhaena. That's probably why Martin made that post about how the show put a dragon in the vale while they are not nomadic creatures. Martin isn't happy.
Jace is upset because he wants to support his mother and be included, but he wasn’t
if Alyn and Addam are both Corlys' bastards that means Addam is Laenor's half brother.
Yeah all of this pisses me off and kind of takes me out of this season
In the books, Nettles who has no Targaryen blood rides Sheepstealer. I guess they changed it in the show and Rhaena will claim him that’s the wild dragon that’s in the Vale, Which is great change but I wish we saw nettles 👍 we also see Seasmoke chooses his rider. Slowly team black is gaining an army. Super excited!!!
Its just suspected because she had no Valyrian features and measters saying she used sorcery or more likely won it by feeding it sheep
Spoil away my friend.
Are you sure Rhaena rides Sheepstealer. She has a dragon morning later and sheepstealer is one of the dragons which survives so she gets two dragons. I’m fine with it but if true that’s a big change
Ser Steffon: "I did it! I'm a Dragon rider!"
Seasmoke: "Err, don't think so!"
I love how Daemon is just tripping off mushrooms in Harrenhal all season~
😂
Daemon actually does get a new lover in the books. Her name is nettles but the showrunners have confirmed they are not introducing her in the show. I think its because she is a teenager and they wanted to avoid having a problematic romantic relationship with a guy in his forties and a teenage girl. Which is a shame since she is actually a pretty badass character who even tames and rides a dragon called sheep stealer.
Why can't they just make her 30😅
it’s fiction why do people get so triggered over everything. i really hope they do introduce her with some changes.
Prince Daeron The Daring is great also Vizzy T!!!!
Rumor is he had black hair in the show🤣🤣
So much hype then the black bias showrunners will turn him into a Renly...
@@prathapkutty7407 viserys targaryen
I have a feeling they will butcher his character for the power of manyyyyyyy
The Tv version is a PC garbage, all male characters are portrayed as weak or idiots without exception! Especially in season 2... It's so cringe to watch sometimes! 😂
Seasmoke: “Excuse me sir, do you have time to talk about our lord and savior Jesus Christ?”
Addam: 🏃🏃🏃
Seasmoke: HEY! HEY! DON’T RUN FROM THE LORD!!!
If this was an Office episode it would be an HR nightmare. You've got break room fights, harassment and interoffice romance.
No. Treasonous Beesebury was shutdown because he was slandering the Queen Dowager into killing Viserys. Such vile accusations are treason.
@@hackt3d
In reality, killing him would make half the kingdom revolt against the Greens.
@@ironfreddy3192he was killed in the book too
@@hi-ls6lt
I am talking about real world consequences. Martin likes to base his books on European history, but dislikes the logic behind events.
Killing a nobleman has consequences, even for a king.
Seasmoke : Why are you running? Why are you running 😂
Great you appreciated Rhaenyra's awkwardness when she said "Yes, he does that" about Seasmoke; oddly enough I didn't see many reactors do that!
Sea smoke was straight trolling Awesome! I loved it!
Dragons choose their riders, not the other way around.
Fun fact:
In the books, it was Ser Steffon Darklyn who brought Viserys I crown to Rahenyra and told her about the usurpation
Also, he didn't have any Targaryen blood, he just tried his luck
Your imitation of Seasmoke made me 🤣😂🤣😂
36:08 Jaby's face through this whole thing 2as HILARIOUS! You and Greg are SO MUCH ALIKE, LOL.
I still wonder if Seasmoke briefly accepted Ser Steffon before turning on him.
Vhagar almost killed aemond in a similar manner.
Daemon fr just like me, my ex's also hooked up...
hope they have him go with someone and Rhaenyra better not trip over it

36:12 Jaby's reaction XD XD XD I was waiting for it hahahaha
Seasmoke always chooses a Valerion his former rider was a Valerion prince he will always prefer a Valerion over some age old Targaryen blood
A grandmothers grandmother was such a huge reach
23:04 Addam straight up says to Alyn "You saved his life, brother".
Yes, they are siblings. One with silver hair, one without.
That scene with Seasmoke makes Aemond claiming Vhagar as a kid so much more badass
I’m with Acharra. A romantic relationship between Rhaenyra and Mysaria is not necessary
It doesn't have to be romantic though
Nothing is "necessary" if you think about it.
It can be romantic, for comfort, or out of spite. Doesn't matter. I don't trust Mysaria for shit.
@@anonymous99632 I thought about it 🤔. Some things are definitely necessary.
Who said they are going to be in a romantic relationship? They are going to be fuck buddies
Laenor is already dead, remember when Mysaria said maybe Seasmoke just lonely when he was whine.
Everyone in Season 2: Let's go season 2!!!
Meanwhile Daemon in Harrenhal: Let's rewatch season 1.
Alys held two pillows tightly over Grover's face.
But, alas. Her skills in the healing arts could not save him.
37:45 what is unclear? Why would the dragon chase the guy down and then be ridden buy the other brother?
I didn’t see that coming. I would be scared to death if I saw a dragon 🐉 flying overhead and after me. And that ending with Rhaenyra and Mysaria😱
Happy to see Vizzy T back!
The ending of the episode was straight out of wattapad fantasies🌚
Womp Womp
26:44 best scene of the episode tbh..the best green is coming
Addam and Alyn are brothers. They have the same mother and blood.
I dont get how y'all missed that Addam is Corlys son??? Hi
'What did I say?!! What did I say??? Kirk. K-I-R-K. WHAT THE F-BOMB DID I SAY?'
Seasmoke is such a flirt. For a dragon.
a glorious reaction thanks guys!~
"Take what strength we have and force Daemon and his Riverlords to fight on two fronts". What a brilliant way to get your armies destroyed piecemeal.
Seasmoke: sure, get on ; )
It’s been established multiple times that Allyn and Addam are brothers 😭 how did u guys miss that 😂
Also, the dragon used to belong to Corlis' gay son Laenor presumed dead. The brokenhearted dragon had recognized Adam's dredlocks & realized his Valeryan blood. Remember the scene when the dragon was flying ovr the beach & saw him picking a crab? The dragon recognized him & decided to pick his own rider.
I gotta feeling our girl rheayna is going to get that wild dragon
