    I use this company, but their new product, PolyT Pro. It is so much easier than PolyT plus. And leaves a softer feel. I love it! I made my husband a shirt back in March and it’s washed twice a week. It’s been washed a ton and all these months later it is just as vibrant today as it was the day I made it.

    We use the Poly T and love the results. We use it on dishtowels and t-shirts and our own handmade potholders. We found that it looks good for about 20 washings using standard laundry soap and normal cycle and regular heat in dryer. We tell our customers to use gentle cycle or hand wash with Woolite in cold water and air dry or low temp on dryer and we've seen fading start after about 45-50 washings. We sell at craft shows and customers love the products we can offer in 100% cotton options. we've started purchasing the larger sized bottles and the new Poly T Pro for the dryer to great success.

    I used it and works wonderfully for 50/50 cotton polyester. I watched the videos that poly t plus has and she explains how it works.
    my daughters shirts are intact after a few washes (10 washes already)
    I wouldn’t use it on 100% cotton but for cotton poly blends works perfect for me.

      @@JulianLuigiNocamasi I am talking from my experience. I’ve tried both, blends and cotton and is a big difference in colors plus cotton doesn’t hold the ink for long time like the poly cotton blend does.
      So … yes it was made for cotton but you need a little bit of polyester.
      For me works better that way 50/50.

    • @123abcrobable

      No, you need to Google your Epson model number and see if there is a dye sublimation conversion for it. Keep in mind that it's not easy to switch it back and forth from sublimation ink to regular ink for normal printing so you probably will want to buy another printer. And one more thing. If you don't use the sublimation printer at least once every week and a half you will have printing issues from the ink or ink head drying out.

    Hi Becky, I've printed my desigs with Epson 8550, using Element Monkey Ink on Sub-A paper, used lint roller on new shirt, sprayed with PolyTPro and sublimated on 100% cotton shirts. The design itself looks fine, however, I keep getting dark spots randomly on the front of the shirt. I use parchment paper on the inside of the shirt and cover the design with either parchment paper or a teflon sheet trying to see if that made a difference and it did not. I have a Tucy Heat Press and set my temp according to directions on Sub A paper. Sadly, I have ruined several shirts. Any ideas what would cause this?

    • @triciae4028
      @triciae4028 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Becky, I had the same problem until I stopped putting the parchment paper inside the shirt as it traps the moisture too much. Even a little bit of moisture in the air can cause a stain. Try using a thin cotton batting inside instead to absorb the moisture with parchment paper on top.

    A little late for comment but is there a difference between the sprayed area, the area that actually sublimates and the rest of the t-shirt? Meaning the feel of the sprayed area that don't sublimate and the rest of the shirt, does it feel like film or less flexible?
    Wait a minute, am I the only guy in here? Ha ha.

    @Moneybags8989 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ok so i want a sublimation spray that DOES NOT TURN YELLOW.
    1) It is not scorching as i sublimate to pre pressed easy subli at 195 degrees celsius all the time on cotton absolutely no yellowing at all for ages now.
    2) I should not have to was 3 million times or even twice to get rid of said yellowing.
    3) i will never spray more chemical like peroxide on top (isn’t one chemical to much as it is)
    There has to be one sublimation spray out there that does not turn yellow and feel like sand paper.
