If only Duke Nukem was half as good as the new shadow warrior series. Part 2 wasn't the best and the guns seemed to have more negative stats than positive.
It's dripping with modern esthetics.
Only thing that is a bit weird is using the sword. It should be fun to wield, but it feels like an afterthought. Slashing in a repeated pattern feels so bad, not fun, and ... Yeah, it sucks.
Otherwise the games have a great sense of humor and just add a lot of attention to detail.
Would it be racist if i call this game Asian Doom?

So many classic gaming franchises have gotten new installments in the modern era of gaming like Doom, Wolfenstein, Serious Sam, and Shadow Warrior. While Duke Nukem is still stuck in a time capsule, wondering when he will get one

Does anyone know if the PS4 version of this game has a physical release? I've searched high and low for information on it, but I can't seem to find a straight answer of whether or not a disc copy is available.
I tried to pre-order a physical copy on ps4 at my local Gamestop, but they didn't have one and didn't seem to know if one even exists. If anyone can tell me, I would greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

Since Shenmue 1 to SW3, Chinese factors and its background with setting for always been hinted me by surprised hugely:" Being a real good man at any costs, that's the way it is 'bout living in human world with pursuit happiness by lifetime at all."
So far I am liking the game but it seems like they just focused on having a very linear experience with very little exploration at all. Hunting down secrets upgrades was great in the first game and it seems to have been completely abandoned. The combat is definitely more doom eternal/bulletstorm but the sword feels good to use and I was worried about that. Weapon variety is basic and upgrades aren’t too interesting even if they are very good on weapons. The best thing it’s got going for it is the combat which is a lot of fun but the game doesn’t go very deep in most other aspects.
Definitely a fun little romp but not something I see doing more than once or twice. First shadow warrior I played through a few times and I think it’s my favorite of the bunch.
There's absolutely alot of secret areas to find that have upgrades, some of them have been really fun to uncover. While I appreciate your love of the franchise, I think (for me) the first game is the weakest overall (although it's still fun) it just goes on far, far, far too long, has terrible boss fights, and I found it doesn't have very interesting upgrades or weapons. The gore weapons here, I feel, keeps the weapons rotation really fresh.
@@MattMcMuscles There are a few secrets here or there with upgrade orbs but they seem sort of sparse. I'm sure I've missed a few so maybe you are right. I liked how the first game had more of a hunt for them with the levels being more open to explore like in the doom or wolfenstein remakes. This one seems like you might turn right instead of left off the obvious path forward to find an orb.
The gore weapons are cool but pretty much just short term powerups. They are pretty fun though and I appreciate how they are a sort of callback to the classic game where you could use werewolf hearts and demon heads. The combat itself is great but I think the guns from the first one felt more fun to use and upgrade. The sword was the first thing I maxed out and the elemental attacks you can use with it are super useful. Challenges are somewhat fun.
The Second game was cool and had lots of crazy weapons but it felt sort of like a slightly worse borderlands which isn't exactly a bad thing. Glad to see you covering this game.
