Cool to see your plans. Make sure you oil the bearings on the TP motor. I've found that it actually makes a difference on my TP motors. You might also want to consider switching to 8mm connectors on the 8S. That think will draw a ton of amps on 8S. You'll be running things hot with the XT150 and packs in series.

Great informative video. I chuckled and learned some at the same time. Again 2 thumbs up on the review. I have no place to run one, but might be a shelf Queen. (Tempting) I'm waiting hoping Arrma comes out with one=electrics installed. I'd buy one, walk to the paved road run it a bit and shelf it. Ps: why the extra cap pack? Is that always better? I got one with my max8 and was wondering if I should install that on my Outcast. I read it’s better to prevent heat in the esc. Does it make the car perform better as well? Sometimes I read ripple killer in video descriptions. I guess it is a brand...
The holes/vents on the rear of the body are there to develop a low pressure pocket in that area and suck all the hot air out from under the body. Just an fyi, as you dont want any air coming in the front of the body. Much better for aero to create low pressure pockets as they dont increase drag nearly as much.
That Rocket motor is interesting.... I'm wondering with an aftermarket motor mount if it would fit in a Kraton 🤔

Thanks bud. First passes were done over the weekend, but further tuning and testing is needed. First combo didn't do too badly and clocked in at about 87mph. Need to gear down a bit and use a cap pack, then we'll see what it can really do. 😉

Cap packs are snake oil. Shops love to sell and recommend them because they cost 2 dollars max to produce and they have a massive markup.

That max 8 handle that big ol motor ok?
You should give that TP 1520 kv 4070 a go in your Kraton 8S. It is perfect for that rig. Give it a Max5 and drop the pinion one tooth from stock, install Duratrax X series wheels on it, and you have an 11kg wheelie monster.

I would like to see someone actually uses the aerodynamics to see what it is like on a track doing slalem, by tuning it using the wing's by cutting them and trying to repeat the course to see improvement's or not, I think there is a lot of ways to explore the limits without breaking any straight line speed's as that is old, try handling test's and challenge other's to beat your lap times.

Make this thing do warp speed and show what it can do. Obviously it should shatter the traxxas xo-1 to take title,but no one has really done that yet. I think one guy on TH-cam did 109,but with today's electronics people should be ludicrous speed out there. I would recommend some avc or other gyro. Can't wait to see
Top speed for the Limitless so far is about 152mph. The XO-1 and 100mph is old news, even the Infraction has hit speeds of about 140mph. I'll be happy to go 124mph and anything beyond that will be a bonus. 😊👍

@@AussieRCPlayground you have to put 2 lipo packs (2x2s or 2x3s) but you showed a battery pack at 21:15
Once I flip the motor mount around I will lose one battery tray and for my 6S passes, I can use just one battery. 😉
But besides that, you don't have to use 2 batteries, you can use just one 4S or one 6S if you want.
super nice looking car. but darn, am i the only one being disappointed with the folds in the decals like the windshield 7:39 for example? technically superb looking machine, just the finishing touches looking like that hurts my eyes. can they be easely fixed by using a hairdryer for example?
