THIS TRUCK is sick, I have had an Outcast for almost a year, I love it. I cant wait to get my hands on the Infraction. I already have the 8,000 mah 100 c batteries, now I have to get the Infraction. Ill be 75 on Saturday, so I'm still kicken it. Keep on Trucken.

Setting a high standard for a very thorough assessment of this new ride Vas, and it definitely shows how the folks at Arrma have been burning the midnight oil to bring us a new experience in our hobby. Personally I like this model for what it is, and where it stands, but I think the real work of genius is the roller. Staying CA glued to your channel mate 👍
I think I might have a buddy make and even wider longer front splitter. We have a laser cutter at the Technical College down the street. Cant wait to get my hands on this thing.

Under the hood or (bonnet)is insane! Love the chassis and all the adjustability! I agree with what you said at the end about possibly a new powerplant in the future. The blx185 system is a bit out of date IMO. Even the off road trucks I believe should have basically an updated Nero Powerplant! That would be HUGE! I have some unused Turnigy A-Spec 3s lipos that would fit perfectly in those big battery trays. I haven’t ever used them because I didn’t have an rc that could fit them. This truck may be in my future. Would be a nice one to have. I’ll plan to buy it for September I think. Great review Vas. I still don’t like that Spektrum radio lol

Good review, nice truck, awfull controller. Tactic over this Spektrum crap all day long. All my Losi trucks controllers were changed from Spektrum to Tactic, because they were glitching and loosing signal, all of them(2XL-e, 2xSbr,Dbxl-e)
I agree the STX2 can glitch and has glitched on me once, but these DX2E radios have had zero issues. I've used them since the Vaterra Halix days when AVC was first introduced. They use the DSMR protocol which is solid and I've not had any problems there, or heard of anyone having issues. But the feel of the controllers themselves, regardless if it's the STX2 or the DX2E, yeah, they fell cheap and nasty.

Hey bud heard the defused with the holes is to put some titanium screws to get that sparking effect you could see Arrma had going on in their teaser video.... hope you see this and hope it helps
Good idea, but this is a heavy 4wd car with a long chassis, you would need an enormous amount of power to lift the front end even millimeters off the ground. Plus, with only 2 holes to hold a wheelie bar, that doesn't seem very secure or strong. But you're the first one to have a guess, which is more than me. LOL.
I don't think that would work unless you can do a wheelie with this car. That piece that goes in the rear defuser will sit on an angle and won't be anywhere near the ground to make sparks. But there are holes under the defuser to install titanium screws that will do that. 😉
Kraton is a best all-rounder truck. It's a Jack of all trades, master of none. The Notorious is a stunt truck, so it will want to wheelie and backflip more when you squeeze the trigger a bit faster/harder. Both are fast, both are tough, both are fine to drive. It just depends on what you're after...
What would you buy if it was your money, you have so much experience with rc cars I would value your opinion. Do you think they will come out soon with a xmaxx killer should I wait ? (Your channel is awesome)
The body will be an issue after you reach a certain speed, but I'm pretty sure 100mph+ is not out of the question. If I can't get the Limitless on time, I'll be going 8S in this beast and seeing what can be achieved. 😉
The losi Audi lm body will look sexy on that chassis. Now I wonder if losi had this project on the table but when horizon got the arma brand they just made this car instead of the losi
very pretty beast. Arrma kicks the ass of the world of the RC. I think Horizon bought Arrma because they could not do the same thing with ECX and Losi. ECX is too cheap and Losi have trouble getting rid of their identity "competition" and their product leisure can not satisfy the basher. I hope that Losi will take advantage of the know-how of arrma in the Bash and that they will why not make an R8 on the basis of "infraction/limitless"
A arms same a as Typhon as well as driveshafts.........so.....Kraton arms, Kraton shocks ,big beefy tires, remove the splitters and youve got an Kraton XXL
Two things to note. The plastic of the remote itself is no worse than the Tactic. The shape is just a matter of taste. I grip the Spektrum better. As for the wheel. Yes, it's too big and lacks foam, but there's a cheap fix. Just purchase a wheel for a DX5C, it screws right on The foam wheels on the Tactic was a joke. Yes it has foam, but it also has a sharp ridge on the wheel, and the foam slides. Honestly, from an objective standpoint. The DX2E is not a downgrade from the Tactic.
Hi what about the warranty because I live abroad and I purchased an Arrma Nero big Rock plus four other Arrma models and the BLX brushless motor made in China failed and seized after I used it for a couple of times with 6s and I wrote to Arrma support and they referred me to Horizon hobby and they found out all the excuses not to replace the motor so I will not purchase another Arrma and I will not recommend it to my friends because they do not keep their promises after all the money we spend on these models.
I work in a hobby shop and I have dealt with warranty issues before and have always had great service from Horizon and ARRMA. If you have an issue with your car you need to contact the retailer you bought it from with a receipt and they should look after you. I have personally helped a couple of customers get replacement motors under warranty, so I don't understand why you can't. 🤷♂️
@@AussieRCPlayground I tried to contact the retailer from where I purchased it but it seems that he closed the shop or changed his name. I purchased it on Ebay because the shop was in another country and they told me that they can't assist me under warranty becausei i purchased it on Ebay, I also sent them the PayPal and Ebay receipts but still nothing. All I asked is for a 2000kv motor or something similar because they informed me that the model in question is discontinued. I am very disappointed after I purchased five Arrma models last year, I also sent Arrma support the photos of the defective front bearing and damaged rotor and stater but still nothing. I like to watch your TH-cam videos because they are very good but I am sorry I can't trust them after how they treated me.
@@josephcaruana9165 from what you're saying it seems the issue is not with ARRMA or Horizon, but rather the retailer that's left you with nowhere to go. The issue is where you bought it from, not the brand. I suggest you buy from trustworthy retailers in the future or risk having issues like this again. I can vouch for Horizon and their service as I've dealt with customer warranties before and not had any issues. I understand your frustration with this, but from what I'm reading, it doesn't sound like it's their fault. 🤷♂️
@@AussieRCPlayground the retailer purchased it from Arrma and up to my knowledge Horizon hobby took over so they should respect and assist the buyers that purchased from Arrma in my opinion. The retailer is like the middle man and if something happens to him you can contact the company directly because no one can know what is going to happen to the retailer or company if they are going to be sold or merged with other company in the near future, so we must always be protected and the company should respect all the obligations. This is a small item and doesn't cost much imagine if I purchased something much more expensive from abroad and after some months they discontinue the model and you will not find replacement parts. Luckily now days we can purchase from all around the world and I was always protected and never had an issue when I purchased from Europe and something went wrong under the warrant. This is the first time that I purchased something from Europe that was imported from the US by the retailer and the warranty was not respected. In my opinion the problem is Horizon hobby or the person who works with Horizon hobby and replied to my queries.
Arrma is gone.. Horizon shamed their designs with all the cheap parts plastics caps aluminum shocks.. their aluminum chassis are straight trash.. Every real arrma fan knows this and that's why they buy M2C CHASSIS and parts immediately..I think it's rediculous to have to totally upgrade a RC from the day you buy it..I hadn't seen 1arrma 6s video run until the battery dies on the first run without issue..bending taco Chassis... Guys I'm not hating on arrma..I'm hating on horizon..their in charge they buy the recycled cans and plastic bottles for their BASHERS? Please speak the truth.. Otherwise they will just keep making these weak as hell.

Would you say this chassis is 7075? Or do you think it’s still 6061 aluminum?
Hi Vas, does the battery tray fit one 6s or do you need two 3s batteries?
You can fit on 6S easy. I used a 5400mah 6S in one tray when I ran the car, so heaps of room in there.

No, Losi and ARRMA have nothing to do with each other. ARRMA had been working on this for nearly 2 years, well before Horizon took over.
They should come out with other body’s for the limitless ones that’s compliment the rear spoiler there you go Arma that’s a idea?!

Two things to note.
The plastic of the remote itself is no worse than the Tactic. The shape is just a matter of taste. I grip the Spektrum better.
As for the wheel. Yes, it's too big and lacks foam, but there's a cheap fix. Just purchase a wheel for a DX5C, it screws right on
The foam wheels on the Tactic was a joke. Yes it has foam, but it also has a sharp ridge on the wheel, and the foam slides.
Honestly, from an objective standpoint. The DX2E is not a downgrade from the Tactic.

Hi what about the warranty because I live abroad and I purchased an Arrma Nero big Rock plus four other Arrma models and the BLX brushless motor made in China failed and seized after I used it for a couple of times with 6s and I wrote to Arrma support and they referred me to Horizon hobby and they found out all the excuses not to replace the motor so I will not purchase another Arrma and I will not recommend it to my friends because they do not keep their promises after all the money we spend on these models.
I work in a hobby shop and I have dealt with warranty issues before and have always had great service from Horizon and ARRMA. If you have an issue with your car you need to contact the retailer you bought it from with a receipt and they should look after you. I have personally helped a couple of customers get replacement motors under warranty, so I don't understand why you can't. 🤷♂️
@@AussieRCPlayground I tried to contact the retailer from where I purchased it but it seems that he closed the shop or changed his name. I purchased it on Ebay because the shop was in another country and they told me that they can't assist me under warranty becausei i purchased it on Ebay, I also sent them the PayPal and Ebay receipts but still nothing. All I asked is for a 2000kv motor or something similar because they informed me that the model in question is discontinued. I am very disappointed after I purchased five Arrma models last year, I also sent Arrma support the photos of the defective front bearing and damaged rotor and stater but still nothing.
I like to watch your TH-cam videos because they are very good but I am sorry I can't trust them after how they treated me.
@@josephcaruana9165 from what you're saying it seems the issue is not with ARRMA or Horizon, but rather the retailer that's left you with nowhere to go. The issue is where you bought it from, not the brand. I suggest you buy from trustworthy retailers in the future or risk having issues like this again. I can vouch for Horizon and their service as I've dealt with customer warranties before and not had any issues. I understand your frustration with this, but from what I'm reading, it doesn't sound like it's their fault. 🤷♂️
@@AussieRCPlayground the retailer purchased it from Arrma and up to my knowledge Horizon hobby took over so they should respect and assist the buyers that purchased from Arrma in my opinion. The retailer is like the middle man and if something happens to him you can contact the company directly because no one can know what is going to happen to the retailer or company if they are going to be sold or merged with other company in the near future, so we must always be protected and the company should respect all the obligations. This is a small item and doesn't cost much imagine if I purchased something much more expensive from abroad and after some months they discontinue the model and you will not find replacement parts. Luckily now days we can purchase from all around the world and I was always protected and never had an issue when I purchased from Europe and something went wrong under the warrant. This is the first time that I purchased something from Europe that was imported from the US by the retailer and the warranty was not respected. In my opinion the problem is Horizon hobby or the person who works with Horizon hobby and replied to my queries.

Arrma is gone.. Horizon shamed their designs with all the cheap parts plastics caps aluminum shocks.. their aluminum chassis are straight trash.. Every real arrma fan knows this and that's why they buy M2C CHASSIS and parts immediately..I think it's rediculous to have to totally upgrade a RC from the day you buy it..I hadn't seen 1arrma 6s video run until the battery dies on the first run without issue..bending taco Chassis... Guys I'm not hating on arrma..I'm hating on horizon..their in charge they buy the recycled cans and plastic bottles for their BASHERS? Please speak the truth.. Otherwise they will just keep making these weak as hell.

Same chassis style from day one lol and arrma still designs them. You want kit quality for rtr price or what? Arrma is the best company for the dollar I've ever found and won't look back
