I also found adding weights to the front of the car helps...if you slide off the bumper theres lil slots where you can put wheel weights...but as an arrma boy you probably already knew bout that

Would you get any more speed out of it if you used a lighter diff fluid? Or would it make that much difference? Reworking the wing and splitter might get you more speed, but at what cost to downforce?

Awesome numbers for a combo in that price range... looks like it's a good match for a 1/8th Buggy with proper gearing.. looks at home in the Limitless lol....
I've had a sticky beak at the Ovonic Battery page, and am very impressed for the value v's power in these lipos...
How you you find they perform real world? Hate getting full technical but voltage sag, heat, ability to really push out the numbers Ovonic advertise.. They look like very solid performers though. much like Zop Powers from China.. I've punished some of those and they have lasted for ages!!

Bought the 15t motor yesterday
9000mah,6s lipo in parallel,youll cook the motor before you get a full run time :D.Ima put a Max 8 Hobbywing 2200kv combo in mine,with a BEC .If i have cut out problems with it,i got a spare Mamba X esc .
sweet car! When you say it cut out...do you mean you hit LVC? I am new to RC cars.....I would hope the car doesn't hit LVC after only a few pulls on a fully charged battery?

I found out hobbywing esc's don't like speed runs. Started out using a max6 on my setup with a cap pack & the car would go flat at full throttle. Only managed 85mph. I'm switching to a castle esc & hope it fixes the problem.
I had the same problem with mine I have an xlx now problem fixed
Remember 90-95mph is the tires limit so I'd look at different wheels also
Wrong, the tires are rated for 150mph I believe
90-95 is what I've seen from others
Seen the stock tyres go well beyond 100mph, but I do have back ups if needed. 😉
Just dont wanna see you post a video saying well today we were doing a speed run of the limitless and the tire blew out and totaled it against a curb at 102mph
Well, if it happens, it happens. I've seen all brands of tyres blow out at various speeds, it's a risk we take when you go this fast.

That monster is a beast!!! Sounds like a F1 perform like a F1 car!! I feel like this Arrma would beat the traxxas xo-1 just because the xo-1 has trouble staying stuck to the ground and the arrma just love hugging the ground.

Thank you. Yes, we are fine, the fires a long way away. We did get a lot of smoke in the air for a few days last week and visibility was down to 500m in some areas, but not in any danger from the fires.
