NIO Stock @@sergey_botsyun Unless you're have an Economics/Business degree and worked on Wall Street for 4 yrs like me then there's no need to do intensive research on any company...it's 2020 and digital information is at your fingertips...all you have to do is go to the best "leading" financial websites like Investor's Business Daily, Motley Fool, MarketWatch, Yahoo! Finance & Zack's - they will have an overall rating and price target for you...it will save you countless hours, invaluable time and wasted energy by reading annual reports n' such, ""I HATH SPOKEN!" #theKONGSTOCKS (P.S. NIO has potential to be great company down the road, not now...they incur massive losses and no profitability...if you like to gamble then place some bets and buy a bunch of shares at $10-11; otherwise don't go "all-in" and put your whole life savings down)

The company doesnt even want to be properly audited FFS and that is major red flag. What really baffles me is the styling. It’s an SUV yet it’s very elegant! IMHO it looks much better than the aggressively and vulgar styled competition wearing huge front grills, “R” badges everywhere and 305 size wheels. Then again, it seems that’s what people want these days🤷♂️
I love Nomi. It is very cute and friendly. The manner is so relaxing and smart as well. 😍
NIO isn't doing to well at the moment with over a thousand staff layoffs. Also to mention 3 of their vehicles set in fire due to a wire issue in the battery pack cashing over 4000 cars to be recalled and taking well over 2-3 months to get them resolved. I hope they do very well and bring competition to the market. It never hurts for more choice for the consumer.
This stock is at $6, get in while you can. Goldman Sachs just rated it as a buy.

At least they have a speaker of Mandarin to accompany the vehicle, and that is a sensible thing to do with a prototype which has been sent to the university for testing, and presumably for further development. As it happens, many speakers of Mandarin live, work or study in Britain, and there are a number of English people who have studied the language.

Latoya Beckford I recently (2015 I think) opened a ROTH IRA for myself that is pretty easy to do. I only invest in Mutual Funds in my 401K or my IRA.

The infrastructure they are planning & the concierge will be unnecessary when battery tech eclipses in less than 5 years. I'm curious about Nio battery tech are they manufacturing the cells or buying them from a major/minor cell manufacturer?

The idea of swapping the battery is excellent. 👍 Tesla tried it, too. Why it doesn't succeed ? My guess is ... that is a psichological blockage: "My battery costs over 10.000 dollars. I don't want to switch my fine battery ... with somebody else's battery ... maybe a damaged one ... which can set me on fire ... after one mile". :/

@@mynewschannel3100 Thanks. I didn't know about them. I just saw their presentation clip. It's nice ... even it is full of animation film. :) Still, despite all the failures ... I believe the swapping idea is valuable ... but it needs a new & smarter approach. ;)
I feel like this is a good investment for the future. They may have issues now. But old issues get fixed and new ones arrive. Could be worse or could be better.
I think for battery swapping to work there would have to be a lot of standardisation and a lot of spare battery packs made which would surely drive costs up? Battery tech is moving so fast that charging times won't be an issue in a few years.
Tesla tried to do the battery swap, but it was quite cumbersome. It Would have taken hours to do so they scrapped the idea.
Nio has the battery pack on the bottom of the car. Better design.

Future car batteries could be charged under 10 minutes. It's just the beginning. Nio wasting money on battery swap technology. The EV market is will be very big therefore Nio have lots of room to grow. Hope they do well as I invested in Nio and Tesla stocks.

Apparently Tesla did make the first battery swap system back in 2013, and it's way faster than this, only 90 seconds or so. I think it's too expensive so they droped it

stoner27th they did do a battery swap prototype back in 2013, but then realized it would not be viable. It dealt with a battery pack being VIN specific and if you switched out the pack, you’d have to go back eventually and get your original pack. It just made it very complicated and time consuming for the consumer. It might be different in China (I’m not sure how vehicle registration works in China. It’d be interesting to do some research on that.

I love NIO but please, battery swap does not seam to attract clients... I think they really prefer to own the car and the battery.
Sure in the west, they care much less in China. There is different approaches to how they want to use a car. Heck total ownership total liability might even be a turn off.
