    I like the Coltri MCH6/SH. This 110 Daystate as many know is also made by Coltri but at 1.1 cfm output its on the low side for the $. I paid $2180 plus freight for MCH6/SH and it's got a similar layout, but has a 5.5 hp Honda gas engine (you can get it in 220v elec. too) and its bigger compressor head puts out a whopping 3.5 cfm or 3+ times as this unit and because it has a gas engine, it is completely power portable if you desire. Plus the Honda is very durable and if that side has any issues, parts, info and support are everywhere. Im sure its louder, a bit bigger and you have to put gas in it but at 3 times the output you end up running it a lot less. But you cant go wrong with either. Just my 2 cents.

      So they take the final stage filter off the coltri and lower the price. Then sell it back to you as an add on...Brilliant...lol

    The reason the tank is not hot because of all the glass or the wrappings around the tank the air inside believe me it’s super hot

    Great post, but I can't believe there isn't a USA manufacture that can make a similar product.

    Two questions how many stages on this compressor and what was the point of the exercise about letting it go to 3000 PSI before you open the bottle I see no point to that

    Looks just like the tuxing compressor Tuxing over $1k less with auto shut off and comes with the extra filter already installed.

      There are MAJOR differences between this compressor and the Tuxing compressor. Tuxing makes a $900ish, dual filter, water cooled compressor. They also have an air cooled 110V SCUBA compressor with dual towers but it's not the same build quality and it has a much higher initial power draw (lock rotor amps) which makes it tough to run unless you have the proper power hookup and capacity. (they also have a gas powered version which we featured recently at Airgun Expo 2024 - It's awesome) I've owned and have run all these compressors. The Daystate is Italian made and built to run for decades if you keep up on the matainenance. It's a true commercial SCUBA compressor with the final breathing air filter removed because it's not needed for Airguns. It's helps keep the cost down. It's also set to run slower, queiter, and with less of a hit on your power system. Although the newer model reauires 110v 30amp. So it's different from this one. Have not tested that one yet.
      Hope that helps.
      Cheers

      Trust me I have the tuxing. It’s the same compressor as your daystate. Yes mine requires a 30 amp 110 breaker. But as you noted so does the new daystate. Where do you think all these parts are made for them? It’s sad to say china makes all the parts! Great videos keep them coming I enjoy them

    My daystate is set at 4,000 psi I needed to fill 4,500 PSI does anyone know how to adjust this unit so that I can get a proper fill?

    • @DalMiranda3
      @DalMiranda3 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You have to remove the plug of the autostop relay, it's a screw right in the center. After that all you have to do is introduce a 1.5mm allen hex key in the same hole where that screw goes. Notice when it reaches the adjuster inside, turning it clockwise will increase the set pressure. Just try 1/4 of a turn, and see where it stops. After a year dealing with the same issue, I got mine stopping at 4,500.

      Got mine adjusted. Mine was. 2mm size Only turned it 1/8 of a turn does not take much to change psi.
