Also regarding AoA as a source for these compressors and service; they showed me that there is a “sight-glass” not far from the drain plug that helps tremendously is getting the oil level right (which isn’t slam dunk easy). Remember vent plug should be opened to allow for adding of oil, and then use the sight-glass if there is one to establish that initial fill of oil. Thanks for making the video full of important points about this gadget.

Thank You for your time and effort and review of the Daystate ! I am about to purchase one built am torn between this and the Omega Turbo, seems like the Omega has nice bells and whistles but the simplicity of air cooled and design the Daystate seems to be the more reliable in the long term. Your opinion will be appreciated .... keep the videos coming

When filling the compressor with oil you should also open the 14mm cap (air flow vent) on the right. This speeds up filling and helps the oil settle. My compressor already has a leak, and I've only used it less than a dozen times :(

Sorry to hear about your leak. I hope you are able to get it sorted out.

    1) measure the oil, 2) remove vent cap.

Tom as usual a believable honest review hopefully it doesn’t happen but if my Carette should die I would go for the Daystate I wonder if Bauer will ever come out with one in the same price range.

Which one did you end up liking better the day state or the Omega turbo?

This appears to be the older model that doesn't have the auto stop feature. Not that its really necessary, since I have the older one, and adjusted the relief valve to start opening at just over 310 bar. SO when my tank is at my desired pressure, I just start to hear the hiss of the relief air.

I got it about a year + ago and never fired it up. Thanks for the comment!

I'm ordering a Omega Turbo. I was seriously considering the Daystate 110 but reading to many comments that indicated the Daystate was not a good compressor in that it was only good for air gunners that didn't do a lot of shooting. I wish I lived a short distance from a place like Airguns of Arizona so I can get service and drop stuff off for repairs. I live on San Juan Island off the coast near Seattle and we have to obtain reservations to leave and and return to the island. I became interested in PCP after not having a place to shoot firearms on the island. I have numerous top quality PCP rifles and PCP accessories but PPC airguns is a expensive adventure.

To speed up the oil fill you could try to use one of those jumbo syringes you could then inject directly into that hole I use one in oil fills on one of my motorcycles

Or you could take the oil vent cap off.
