  • The personal compressor market intended for airgun use is represented by many models coming from both Asia and Europe. Daystate LTD in partnership with a top quality Italian compressor manufacture has provided the airgun industry with the finest electric and gas models. These 4500 psi machines perform with speed and offer a lifetime of clean, dry compressed air. The increasing demand for a high quality, affordable, 110-Volt, European-made unit has prompted the development of Daystate's newest compressor offering. The all new Daystate low consumption or LC110 model is the finest European 110-Volt compressor available. The LC110 can be powered by any residential 15 amp outlet making this unit perfect for the garage or home office. Daystate has designed the LC110 to be lightweight and quiet for the best in portability and use in all environs. Filling speed is fast for such an affordable and small compressor, filling a 75 cubic foot carbon tank from empty to 4500 psi in a tick over one hour. The air cooled system requires only oil change service to keep running in top order for years on end. The noise level and running cadence is a pleasing “thump thump thump” from the compressor's three cylinders. Bleeding petcocks make for easy moisture removal and a teapot style blow off is set at 4500 psi. The Daystate pressure blow off adapter can be added as an option so that direct filling to an airgun is made safely possible. The new LC110 Daystate compressor is the latest in an already established line of high quality, high pressure air solutions.

    I have owned this for a few months. I fill 88 CF carbon fiber tanks for my big bore. I have two tanks and it takes about 10 minutes each to top off from 2800 or 2900 psi to 4400 psi

    I should have bought this unit instead of the air venturi compressor. My first unit arrived in horrible shape and lasted less than 5 hours. The internals had exploded due to the use of plastic joining points. I am on unit 2 and it has lasted longer and works still but every time I use it I am uncertain if it will fill one more bottle or go out. Anyone still looking for a compressor should spend the extra money on the Daystate compressor or the Omega compressor. At least you can run those with peace of mind and confidence.

    Very well done. If you revise the video then you may want to remove the duplicate section on where to fill the oil. At this class of machine why does it not have an adjustable auto-shutoff? Daystate/Coltri really should move the oil drain pipe for easier access and to get a bucket under it (opposed to draining onto an internal pipe?!). The only thing missing to get a sense of how loud it is (compared to popular alternatives out there). It looks like a great product!
    Yoke is the standard connector for recreational scuba diving in the USA. Technical divers (in the USA), recreational divers in Europe and I am sure elsewhere use the (superior) 300 Bar DIN connector. And while this is a scuba class compressor, it does not come with the necessary (expensive) filters to make the air breathable.

      There is an extension tube on the oil drain, for some reason in this video it came apart at the wrong joint and so the oil drained on the interstage cooling tubes. On the one I received this does not happen. This is basically a $3k 230V scuba compressor with a more convenient 115V 14.5A motor and no filter at $2k. If you want to fill both breathing tanks and airguns buy the full scuba model. This is for the airgun crowd who don't need breathable air but want a solid compressor that is designed for years of service and comes with a real warranty and maintenance to back it up. It is quieter than a regular shop compressor, and about the same as a super-quiet type shop compressor. At 1.1 scfm it puts out 31 liters per minute, it is set up for long reliable life rather than the fastest fill rate, and the air comes out cooler and carrying less water vapor. The moisture separator is massive and much more effective than the smaller units, and no tampons to change or burned oil in the air. Also no water cooling or buckets and pumps to mess with. After the electronic shutoff trips close the tank valve and open the drain valve and restart the compressor for a couple minutes to let it pump the condensation out of the system. It doesn't run as hot as the little water cooled units. The heat is spread out over a larger area with cooling tubes and fins and the large fan does an effective job of cooling.

    Nice. But I wish the fan runs little bit longer after shut off the unit for cooling after running hot.

    • @airgunsofarizona
      @airgunsofarizona  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good point. You can simply open the bleed rather than shutting it off. Then you could let it run without pressure for cooling.

    Dude, you're holding the oil container wrong for pouring. You want the neck of the bottle opening 'up' at the top side of the bottle when you tilt it for pouring. This allows air to flow smoothly and continuously into the bottle while the oil is pouring out. If you don't, then you get the 'glug, glug, glug' pouring with increased chance of spilling.

    unfortunately my unit keeps tripping dedicated 15 amp breakers at around 250 bar. I was hoping that i could talk to one of the factory trained technicians, but it looks like i am going to have to pay to have this 80 lb behemoth back to AOA to see if your staff could fix it...not a happy camper!

      If the plug you’re plugging into is too far from your panel like at the other end of the house that could happen so you may want to put it in the garage not far from the panel the longer the wire the more resistance so it will trip breakers but you’re more than likely have a 12 to wire in the wall if you don’t know get a pair of calipers or something and measure the thickness of the wire if you do have 12 wire in there just change the socket to a 20 amp socket no big deal

    • @1960fusion
      @1960fusion ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lifeingeneral9111 no, it did the same thing at a friends house that is only a couple years old with a dedicated 20 amp plug near the breaker with 12 gauge wire. it ended up being a defective unit that was replaced after many months of no communication from either AOA or daystate. from what i understand, there was a batch of defective units.

      More efficient in 220V, but no better in quality. The 110V model is much more convenient for the US market.
