  • Really excited about this one! Hill Pumps of Sheffield have kindly agreed to lend me an EC-3000 Evo for 12 months to give it a thorough review. That and their hand pump, the MK5 Pro.
Obviously shows that they're confident in their products...Hats off to them!
This is a company that's been in existence for almost 200 years, some 50 more and they would have been around when the United States of America was formed! Now that's history!
1st impressions...really impressed so far. Had a look around their factory and spoke to their work force...great atmosphere, all good!
For more information about the products shown in this unboxing video, visit: www.airriflepump.com or call Hill Pumps on +44 (0) 114 248 4882
The Hill EC-3000 Evo compressor weighs 21.5kg with the Dry Pack fitted.

The Evo 3000 compressor is the best l have ever used said the springer man in the corner! Seriously though it is relatively quiet, excellent air filtration and reasonably portable and virtually idiot proof. Hills utube presentation for set up and servicing is so informative and should help with any issues, great product for the price in my opinion 👍

Tremendous products, unfortunately I couldn't consider a manual pump, as it would completely knacker my Mrs having to keep filling our rifles at the range.. It was bad enough for her to lug our 7ltr steel dive tank around, till I took pity and bought a carbon one.. Wouldn't have be so bad had she not been knocked off her motorcycle and pulled the ligaments off her shoulder.. Still, at 63 she's quite fit for her age.. Might even treat her to a compressor when she's in her 70's..

Whilst the pump has a condenser have you thought about putting a water filter on the whip lead

The whip lead is attached to the air/oil/moisture filter mounted on the pump frame, available as an option when purchasing; a wise investment IMO.

The title suggests the video is about the EC-3000 but the first 18mins were spent talking about the company, the handpump.and drypac, 26m 40s later you've said nothing of note in your "proper review".

And it isn't a review, just first impressions. Completely useless as far as I am concerned.

Always "Chinese" as if there isn't worst, c'mon. stick with the agenda at hand, I love your reviews, minus the "zeno".

In all honesty, the hand pumps I've used in the past were Chinese...supplied to me by Guns R Us in Sheffield.

Got a MK4 pump, it’s a good bit of kit… just be aware with pumps though, don’t go hell for leather when charging. High pressure air gets hot quickly and that heat will destroy seals in the pump; I’ve had first hand experience of this with my first Astor (?) pump… go slow, a few strokes at a time… otherwise it’ll be more than seals that are knackered 😂👍… the Hill pumps are (were) user serviceable unlike my first pump which ended up in the bin 🥲. Buy cheap, buy twice as the saying goes…
