An African Ranger in original Jim Green Tan leather with green stitching and traditional Jim Green green laces to match, a composite toe cap and the new tyre wedge sole. That would make the most comfortable custom pair of hiking boots for all my long hikes on rocky trails and photoshoots in nature reserves.😃

😅😊😂. Finally, a video with someone other than Gareth. Feature some of the factory workers. Interview them. Have them talk about what they did on the customers' boots.
Love Jim Green! Definitely going to go with the Jim Green Brown. I feel like that will go better with a lot of the styles that I have in my wardrobe. Would love to get my hands on a custom Numzaan, I have been eyeing that boot since it came out.
I would love the AR8s with the classic black leather on the JG last with a black lug sole. I have the barefoot African rangers which are my favorite pair of boots but I would be nice to have something a bit more rugged with a thicker sole sometimes.
A pair of Single lasted black 8" Nuzmzaans with an ASHM last, black falcon sole, olive laces, all black stitching, and a pull loop on the back for a grittier look ❤
I would love a pair of custom Baobab's in the tan leather with white stichdown stitching. I already have a couple pairs of Jim Greens in your tan leather and I love them, and I really like the contrast between the white stitching and the tan leather.
I love your boots, I tell everyone I can about jim Green! I have always wanted the baobab boots (13and a half) in the classic tan with a leather midsole, green stitches on upper and lower. The mini lug sole is perfect no change there. And a big jim green frog branded on the outer quarter like the vellies have on the heel. You guys are the best keep up the amazing work!
The barefoot African trooper: black leather, double lasted, built in kiltie like the Numzaan, midnight blue stitching, leather insole, thicker leather midsole, Jim green frog on the outer ankles, maybe some eva after the resin runner. Would be cool to have the new Tire wedge sole on there but I'm not sure how that would work out on a barefoot boot lol. anything that would help it combat the Canadian winter would be awesome. always excited to see the boots people come up with! (love the new bronco leather btw)
I absolutely love my Jim Greens! Never had a better pair of shoes! I really love the JG black and would love to see a pair of either Numzaan or Boabab with that formal black look! Thanks so much for such amazing boots and shoes!
Eh, I wanted to be compliant at work but didn't want the weight of steel or how cold they get in the winter. These are already going to probably weigh a pound per boot or more.
I’d love to add a pair of Vellies in your classic tan leather to my collection, I’m sure they’ll look great with some age and patina. Keep up the great work guys, love your boots and the videos you’ve been putting out lately.
Baobab two tone with the tan on the vamp and tongue. With brown on heel counter, eyelet facing, and toecap. Green stitching everywhere to match the laces. Triple or quadruple stitched. Barefoot spec with polyester woven board in between the leather midsole and rubber slip sole. Double toe puff, single lasted, with the branding on the heel. Size 8.5 US
Loving the Jim Green Tan; I think a Numzaan with the Tan, a leather pull loop (for extra patina there), white stitching, and a Frog Sole would be great!
AR8 with composite toe. Two-tone with roughout brown on the heel counter and toecap, smooth out black everywhere else. Leather midsole with resin runner, Oringo wedge sole, leather toecap. Toe cap triple/quadruple stitched, brown laces, and white or black stitching. Double lasted. By the way, I've got two pairs of JG boots already. I wear the walnut veg tan Numzaans pretty much everywhere I go, and the houston brown barefoot African Rangers work great for exercise or around the house. Rowing, deadlifts, and squats are all super convenient in them, as they function like a more fashionable pair of deadlifting shoes. Cheers!
JG black is the nicest of all of them in my opinion. As for the giveaway, I'd go with the JG black leather on the AR, double lasted with the tyre wedge sole. Good luck to everyone!
Just ordered my first pair of Jim Green Boots after getting my Dad into them as well! If I were to get a custom boot, I would use the original tan leather on a barefoot Numzaan with white stitching. Love how the white stitching looked on the ranger in this video.
I would love a pair of African rangers with a leather mid sole in black leather, running the frog grip sole. I can wear those to work in the office and be comfortable all day. Best shoes I've ever bought were leather mid sole African rangers. Just not office appropriate, not yet at least!
Absolutely love my African ranger barefoots. Nearly every detail feels tailored to the needs of a landscaper. If you guys pick me, I’d be adding a pair of brown numzaan boots to the collection. Olive stitching. What an incredible boot!
Those stockmans look great, and are spot on in their design using the ASHM last. For me I would go the Stockmans, ASHM last in Jim Green black leather on the frog grip soles.
The AR8 black steel toe with a tow cap are good looking boots would be nice if those are in stock for people that have to have steel toes for work. The quality in y’all boots are awesome. I love my Jim green boots
I would love to have a pair of the Jim Green Black AR8s on the STC last, with a leather lasting board, leather midsole with black resin runner, JG Black Lug in (the softer version), black edge staining, black laces, with a leather pull up. I have my first pair of Jim Green boots, the African Ranger fudge otw, excited!
Razorback, stc last , leather lasting board, leather midsole, Eva foam, jg black lug. Toe cap 4 stitch, all single stitch to be double. Traditional Green Brown leather. Green laces.
Love Jim Green. Their value and quality is hard to beat. The STC last fits like a glove on my EE wide feet. I’d want to custom build the perfect hot weather farming boot. A single lasted, leather lasting board and midsole, added toe cap, leather pull tabs, with oringo sole in Tan.
Some JG tan roughout Baobabs, STC last with an African Trooper style toe cap, and leather for the midsole and lasting board. Add a black Oringo sole and that’s perfection
Okay I was probably the first to comment and now have read through most of the comments (and there is a lot!!!) Well done Jim Green you surely created a Stirr and a massive following. The prospect of the 719 and moctow is also exciting. Good luck to the winner but I don't know how you gonna choose one out of all the excitement.
BLACK AR8 But maybe in the rough out version of the leather. Great job guys!! Or maybe the african trooper in original black but duble lasted, stc last and the jg lug sole (and leather midsole and lasting board) I will always love a tank of a boot!
I would love a pair of African Rangers in JG black with waxed/cotton laces. Ideally with a mini lug "wedge style" sole, and some leather footbeds to top it off. Those would be absolutely perfect to tackle what I need to outdoors in the bush and during hunting - additionally, the classy black will make it great for more a more rugged casual wearing boot, that could be paired with jeans as well.
Just ordered my first pair of African Rangers in Fudge. I am eyeing my next pair in Black or Green. It would be awesome to do a custom pair. Thanks for the great videos. Have a great weekend.
Either a Shoellie or Numzaan on the JG last with a pull loop using the Jim Green Black leather option. Everything else can be fairly similar to stock. I've been wanting a pair of formal looking JG boots but everything below the JG last is too narrow for me. Whoever wins, enjoy the boots!
been following Jim Green for nearly 3 years now and the journey has been incredible; theres been so much growth for this great group of people! ive been wanting to gift my mum a pair for a while now, and a black african ranger boot with brown stitching would suit them incredibly well. even if i dont win this giveaway, this make-up will come to fruition eventually haha
I’ve been using some all black ARs at work for about a year now and love how they have held up. I would love to try a pair of Numzaan boots on the STC last in all black. Add the tyre wedge with leather lasting board and resin runner. No leather liner as I work in pretty warm wether and a pull loop at the rear for ease of putting on. I think that would be an awesome build for work.
I would be going with Shoellie in Tan on an Oringo sole using brown stitching all around. Would switch to the JG last for a perfect comfortable office shoe.
Thank you for the giveaway opportunity! I'd go with a brown ar8, the stc last, leather toe cap with extra row of stiches, leather lasting and midsole, tyre wedge sole. Single lasted, 4 eyelets, 4 speedhoks and last eyelet at the top. Sorry this is too much details 🙏 Cannot wait for the moctoes release!
I think the Stockman (presented in this video) in JG Tan, would look great and ideal to stomp around town, The frog grip sole compliments the Chelsea style. These look great when new but even better when they age. Cheers to many more miles!
I chose the Numzan with rough out black for the toe cap, heel counter, collar and eyelet facing and nubuck houston black for the vamp and tongue with red stitching. Leather last with leather midsole with a pull loop, tire sole. I so freaking excited to get my pair!
Those black AR8, with the toe and toe cap, should go into stock production with steel toes. Motorcycle riders, public safety workers, and tradesmen will want that spec. I can use it the next time I have to wear black tie. I would buy that boot in black and tan.
@@tarheelriever2609 I bought the steel toe Razorback on Amazon Black Friday. $95. It was worth it. Really nice shoe if you like heavy shoes with a bulbous toe.
I tried to design what I thought Jim Green would make if they tried to make a Corcoran Jump Boot. The sole also reminds me of the ones on the Danner Fort Lewis. Hopefully they fit me as well as my composite toe Stockmans because I can wear those 7 days a week but ultimately I came to the conclusion that I prefer a lace up boot over slip ons.

Very awesome looking boots!👌😎👍👉♥️
Those black boots, on a "steel toe cap" last, should have a steel toe cap. I would buy them. The 4 row stitched toe cap is really nice.
Eh, I wanted to be compliant at work but didn't want the weight of steel or how cold they get in the winter. These are already going to probably weigh a pound per boot or more.
@@EvilSSP I guess we bear the weight of the boot, when we want to keep our toes.
