That's what I don't like about it... the clinking, clacking, sweeping, rubber banding, etc.. noises are driving me crazy. I wish it was actually silent but I'd prefer music over all these noises.
Soap dishes should come with drain holes. The wet soap will slip off the rubber bands. 1) After using soap, rinse off the lather, shake the cake to remove excess water and place on dish along the narrow side so that the soap is sloping and raised by one edge to air dry. 2) You can also press into the cake a soda bottle cap and always put the soap down with the cap part below. This keeps the soap raised to allow air circulation. 3) lay a sponge on the base of the soap dish to catch the softened soap. Use sponge to clean things later... Like taps, basin, shampoo bottles, etc. Thoroughly wash the sponge after use and squeeze dry before putting it back below the soap.
I found using a heavy duty scouring pad that I bought at a dollar store for $1.25 for 4 pads. It allows the soap to air dry. When the soap bar is about done, use it to scour the tub, sink, etc.
OMG... That is a great idea. I have a color coded plastic scouring pad for both the kitchen and the bathroom... I'm going to figure out a way to make this method work I like that
Soap dishes and soap bars are why I use liquid hand soap from a pump, and why I use a vacuum rather than a broom. Still, both tips are good if that's the way you roll.
Hi! I used your rubber band idea and it works great. I use a cleaned lid from petroleum jelly for my soap dish, and the rubber bands work fine. The plastic bag sounds like a great idea as well.

@@PhantomFilmAustralia I put slughtly used kitchen towels/paper in a plastic bag or box to reuse them for these dirty little jobs. This is a smart idea. I have 2 pugs. Their shedding is unbelievable. Even worse, their flyaway hair is staticy ( sticks to anything, especially plastic). This could help roundit all up without it sticking to the broom, dustpan and myself.

Omg a plastic bag, we're all going to die! Could just put the plastic bag on and leave it there. If your floors are that gross that you have to switch out the bag every time you've got more issues than sweeping lol.
In Europe, the soap dishes have a basin in the bottom so the water drains through and your soap don’t sit in water. Also, they have a magnetic top that you push into the soap and it floats and stays dry.

There are dustpans with built-in combs for the brooms, or you can attach a hair comb to the dustpan yourself to comb out the hair and other sticky stuffs. Better for the environment than using a plastic bag each time you sweep.
The environment. 🙄
Still attach a comb is a good idea..I've not seen the built in combs, they sound good
Omg a plastic bag, we're all going to die!
Could just put the plastic bag on and leave it there. If your floors are that gross that you have to switch out the bag every time you've got more issues than sweeping lol.
I would just use the same bag each time and just wipe it off or wash and dry it.
My dog is a super shedder! So much hair gets in my broom, so I can't wait to try this hack! Thank you.

In Europe, the soap dishes have a basin in the bottom so the water drains through and your soap don’t sit in water. Also, they have a magnetic top that you push into the soap and it floats and stays dry.
In the United States too.
Thank you for all these great tips. Keep these ideas coming. Great video.
Really smart ! I am watching your video from Argentina.
"Heno de Pravia" is a fragrance that has been in my family for three generations, and as I can see, we also share our lives with some furry creatures! Cheers!!!!
No pounding background music in my ears! What a refreshing change.
Wow! I never thought of anything like that before my life. Guess I'm going to try it.
US Two dogs, one a Great Pyr. I’m definitely gonna try this plastic bag trick today!
OMG I thought I was the only rubber band geek!
They are also great to keep one in a set of French doors open for the dog by looping several together & hooking that between the open & closed handles! Dog will nose door open & rubber bands close it almost! 😊
Be careful with rubber bands when you have pets or kids. If they swallow them it can be fatal!
France merci pour toutes ces astuces 👍
Good ideas! I can see where the soap dish trick could be a nuisance though as the soap gets smaller. I have in my shower a small shower caddy hanging from Command hooks and put my soap there. Now & then I take it down & scrub soap residue from it. Works best for me. I am going to use the plastic bag next time I sweep! (From North Carolina, USA)

I never sleep I only vacuum. I have only two rooms with carpet but the rest of my house is tile and I only use my vacuum for over 10 years. It's just easier.
Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 🙂
Wow!!! Thanks for sharing this simple trick!❤
Dzięki za super pomysły, pozdrawiam z Polski 👍
Greetings to you from Trinidad 🇹🇹. My daughter-in-law and my grandson are Polish🥰. They live in Krakow.
Thank you for sharing your tricks & tips with us. I will definitely try the broom in the bag. I do not use bar soap, so I probably would not use the soap tip.
I will keep watching & sharing your videos.❤
💖💖
Instead of using the bag on the broom... don't buy a cheap broom, they don't sweep well anyways. Spend a few bucks for cleaning equipment and you will keep your home clean
brilliant
Happened 2 stumble on your you tube site. I've enjoyed ever one very much. Thks
That sounds all like nonsense😊
