I learned a couple of tricks when I managed a sample room in the garment district. Double the thread before putting it thru the eye of the needle. No frayed edges. To speed up sewing on buttons, double the thread as above, but pull both cut ends and the looped end together, and knot. That way, you have four strands at once, rather than just two, so sewing on buttons takes half the time.
Wow, I totally could've used that binder-clip phone-stand hack just 2 weeks ago during my vacation! Great hacks... my favorites were that, the very cute DIY bookmark, the _very useful_ stitching tip/trick, and ✏-sharpening the plastic straw for to create a coil. Smart, creative! TYFS❣

I'm hoping the more times I see this, the more it will jog my memory. Ooh, love that credit card across the keyboard tip. Will definitely try this.
Number 12 is unnecessary - fold thread over needle to make a crisp edge, then thread the crisp eadge easily into the eye of the needle. Works for sewing thread through to thick yarns. Number 13 & 15 is called Ladder Stitch.

Oh my goodness you not kidding!! I store my plastic store bags in a white kitchen garbage bag. Stuffed full and taking up space standing in the corner of my closet in my apartment, taking up valuable space. I use them for garbage, by lining a little plastic waste basket from Dollar 🌲 Tree. But no more!! Oh I am so glad to have some extra space in this old lady 's closet. My goodness those little triangles could fit in a drawer!! Maybe I will keep them together in a little ziplock or something, but, my goodness, Cecelia Smith is definitely a fan of Ms. Home.
