Good point! I wonder if placing the hooks upright and then putting a rod through the center of the box would work instead (the rod would rest on the hooks where it comes out on either end of the box).
My aunt does some of these, like hangers on doors and stuff, and we learned some things. Be careful about what you hang and where! Doors aren't designed to bare a vertical force that the loaded storage hook has. ESPECIALLY if you have one of those hooks that goes over the top of the door. The weight of anything hung there is added stress directly on the hinges. Over time, the door gets all wonky and never shuts right again. The hinge is bent, the screws are bent, and the holes in the wood are stripped. If it's REALLY heavy the door might crack or break outright. Congrats! You have a fun repair on your hands or need a new door just because of a storage hook.
With containers I prefer a blank black chalkboard sticker with a white chalkboard marker because the container get so many different items as my family like different things it’s easier to wipe and relabel after washing out the container
I don’t know if there are various sizes, but Amazon has little discs that you can stick to wall that keeps tension rods from slipping down. It has a little lip on the bottom to hold the rod. The ones I got are clear, but I believe they had white and black too (or you could spray paint them whatever color). They’re great for the shower curtain.

I labeled the ones for the basement: AAA batteries, AA batteries, Other batteries, Carabiners, Clamps, Door hardware, etc. It's so easy to find little things that would otherwise get lost in a bigger unit. Why do my command hook stickies not stay up anymore. Seems they don’t last long right out of package
Thank you for putting this together. There’s some great ideas and I just might use a few. Wish I was this organized. 😅
For Tina careful what you wish for,Empower yourself with a course or tips,I just did game changer. .
Hands down the best storage hacks I've ever seen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Love the in-drawer spice rack hack.
And if she's anything like me, she'll only use four of those spices on the daily.
@@jekku4688 lol! (in a respectful way)
Where can we find those containers? Probably Amazon but Those are super cute 🥰
Omg LITERALLY straight to the point, this is awesome
Ok I have watched a lot of these videos but this one is real world fixes. Great video
I DO like the idea of using tension rods to keep cupcake, muffin trays etc tidy
Inexpensive tension rods?? Not when you need a dozen and they are $4 a piece for the smallest ones!
Ok the Tupperware lid storage is brilliant!
Thank you for great hacks 👍👏👏👏
One of the best videos on home organization.. loved every tip .
2:04. Make sure your hooks do not interfere with closing the cabinet completely by making sure they clear the shelf.
Really great ideas! They are easy and functional! Thanks for sharing.
Would love a link for the spice jars. I have looked into the jars and I was shocked at the price
Ordered mine from Amazon scroll for a few and you’ll find them alittle cheaper
These spice jars look just like the jars that the organic Walmart brand spices come in. If you just buy those when you need new spices and replace your old spice containers over time. The uniform, glass look is what makes it look so great.
@@carolinapatriot9651 Ahhhh, ai if I buy 20-30 of the cheapest spice, empty those into one huge jar for storage, I'll get uniform jars for free! What a great idea... thanks, bc I've been trying to find jars & just can't pull the trigger on such an expensive upgrade
I saved the jars from Classico pizza sauce and pesto. Perfect for herbs
I'm screaming over how you've saved my space!!! Thank you ❤️
Subscribed!!!!
Some great ideas, however labeling clear, see-thru containers seems a bit silly.
Excellent ideas for systematic storage and best use of available space
Thank you very much for your ideas, I've started using these tips and becoming more found of it each time I make one for my house and want to do more of these easy home organizers .
All solutions are practical and easy to follow. Thank you so much!
I really NEEDED this!!😊👍👍❤️
I tried to use the tension tod tricks, but the rods I got on Amazon kept collapsing or untwisting and wouldn’t stay up
Thank you your ideas are very clever. This is such a good motivation for me to get organized. I feel really excited watching this and I can’t wait to get started.❤
Great video Thank you for sharing have a blessed day stay safe and healthy.🙏❤🙏❤🙏
In my experience, Command strip hangers almost always fall down. Even with proper prep of the wall or cabinet surface and with very little weight hanging from them.
Yup. I had two Command strip hangers holding two plastic, lightweight strainers on the side of a cabinet. They both fell within 5 months.
I love the ideas and execution!! Can you possibly link the material that you use like for the in drawer spices racks?
It looked like Styrofoam board.
Or coreboard you can get at dollar tree or Walmart
It's called foam core, and Dollar Tree has sheets. Hobby Lobby has giant sheets in the framing area
❤️💯 Luv these household tips. I use Nano tape instead of command strips. It works better, removable, reusable & way cheaper 😊
Love it, thank you!
More vids focused on solutions for toys please? ! :))
THANK YOU FOR YOUR WISDOM ❤
Can you please share how you made the Labels. Thank you
All amazing tips! Yes! You are have a gift, and I appreciate and admire your innate innovative mind. I will use these ideas for behavioral tips for ADHD. Thank you for filming this!😅
I use pool noodles in my boots
We do too; they work great!
Thanks for the tip !
I’ve used empty plastic drink bottles as well, necessity is the mother of invention!
I use rolled up magazines or catalogs.
@@edennis8578 I love how we all use various items to do the same thing, & help each other by sharing those ideas, so someone else who hasn't got their own system set up can find ideas that are unique & affordable!
Thanks for much for sharing your ideas TH-cam friends!
These are some of the best ideas I've seen. There should be 1000's of likes.
Get extra measuring spoons/scoops so you can designate one per container and store it inside with the food. Spoons with food dust on them, hanging on the outside of the container, will attract moths.
I did not know that. Thank you. ❤️
You’re a genius!!!!! Thank you for tips and tricks of storage!!!
I don’t put anything into jars as I’m always left with a full jar and half a packet to store.
