Also candle wax on windshield… what about the wipers after that.. they will skip like hell. Wd40 on plastic/rubber is maybe not a big issue in a cheap car with tons of hard plastic but in some cars you definitely ruin your quality interior in no time with that crap.

@regd.2263 Absolutely it will not .... wd40 is used extensively on motor cycle chains where there are a lot of rubber "o" rings and after the WD40 thouroughly cleans the chains and rubbers the chain is then coated with proper chain lubricant. WD40 does not harm rubber.

So, never use wd40 on rubber, it's degrades and breaks the rubber properties down. You can use it to clean a rubber O ring for example but you are not to leave it soaking.
So far, no one noticed that taking apart a candle is ridiculous. Buy a box of 4 paraffin bars. You can do the temporary scratch filler (to make sure you can use "touch up paint" later) and make a hundred candles.

This is a mask, that car dealers have been using for many years. WD-40, unfortunately, only last a short time and then it will look just like it did before you put the WD-40 on or worse.
