Good video, the conversation between you and Scott is great, should leave them in there. Also you could discuss the different strategy you both use. Stay safe and looking forward to the next video.

      Hey Rich,
Thanks for watching and commenting. Always fun sharing a stream with Scott. Great angler, fly tier, and guy. Here is what I sad to someone else about the difference in his style and mine:
Its definitely very unique for sure, many ways to "skin a cat", or whatever phrase you feel best applies :) Scotts system is requires a bit more "traditional" leader, whereas mine is made of Mono, hence the "mono rig". His is more of having fly line out of the guides and mine barely comes off the reel. He will make longer cast and drifts, whereas mine is usually short and compact. I think they both work no matter where you go to fish. However, if I had to say which works best where, mine is best in my eyes for pocket and riffles, his is best is flatter/calm water and slow riffles. Just my observations. Scott is a hell of an angler, and we have shared the stream many times. Some days he comes out on top, and some days me. In this instance he gave me the right away on the holes and even watched a good bit just letting me have at it. This day was less of a competition and number counting day, and just two guys enjoying each others company that love to fish.

Looked like a fun day slaying some fish on the eggs! Nice video Mike.

Just a simple day on the water. No fancy shots or edits. I’ll have to change it back up on next one. Thanks for watching. Looking forward to your next one.

@@tightliningmd Yeah sometimes I do the same. It's nice to just simply have just the GoPro rolling and worry about nothing else.

Nice job man! I like how your doing this spring, a different species each month. Looking forward to your brookie trips! That sucker was cool too. Buddy of mine got one on a nymph the other day. Tight lines as always!

Thank you. Just wanted to switch it up for me and the viewers. I have two more coming up that were pretty good rainbow trips. Still a few more weeks to find a great trip :) Tight lines, headed over to watch yours now.

Two of my favorite TH-camrs. Looked like a fun day. Good old eggs and mops for the rainbows. Thanks for the video Mike!

Scott is one of the best. He was whacking fish in one spot and let me slide down and pick up a few more of my own. Great guy and fisherman.

Thanks for watching Eric. Had a good time on water with Scott. Eggs have been a hot fly lately. Especially since suckers are spawning

It's great seeing you and Scott fishing. I admire both of you and find your videos to be among the best available. It's interesting to me that two such excellent anglers have different nymphing styles. I was wondering if you could compare Scott's method to your more-euro style.

Great job! Those egg flies have been producing well for you! In those larger rivers it can be hard to find fish sometimes, but you guys had a great day.

They have been for sure. Did well with them again today as well. I used to never fish then. Lately though, they have been helpful in high flows or on stocked streams. Thanks for watching Justin!

I have to admit that I fish glo bugs and egg patterns way to much. Some may consider it cheating and cheap but they catch fish! Trout eat eggs period. All year. At anytime.

They work, no doubt about it. I found out a few years ago they are the perfect winter pattern, especially because nothing hatching. Some people may turn their nose, but when its an imitation on a hook, its still a fly :) Tight lines!
