Beautiful and colorful maples.
Have a shirazz which is basically the same mutation as geisha gone wild but from a different sport. And it's great. Really love how from a distance it looks truly pink while it has this almost pastel green bark that contrasts nicely.
A lot of the newer cultivars aren't really unique but this one definitely is.
friend of mine has a giant old benichidori in the yard. i been collection seedlings this season from around the base. free is best for my budget lol. its one of the biggest japanese maples ive seen in the area. ibeautiful adds to your collect

Hi Jonny. I use espoma Holly tone since Japanese maples prefer slightly acidic soil. It works great also.

Wow those look amazing!!! Those are summer colors?! Where do you get them? Those are pretty large for 1 gallons. That Tiger Rose is gorgeous and I will have to get one. I love the Japanese Sunrise and a few others as well and will add them to my list lol.

Maple Ornamentals and Wilson Bros Gardens. I’ve ordered 5 trees from Wilson all in fabulous shape. Maple was also great but I’ve only ordered 1 from them
I fertilize my JMs right before bud break in the spring and then again right before their 2nd flush in the summer if I can time it right.
