TAKING YOU ALL CRABBING ON THE CRYSTAL RIVER. USING FOLDING CRAB TRAPES STUFFED WITH MACKEREL FOR BAIT. DID A BIT OF FISHING TOO WHILE WAITING TO PULL THE TRAPS WITH A FEW COUGHT BUT WERE SHORT. NICE WEATHER ALL DAY.

Can you use worms as bait for fishing ? What did you use ?

Not sure Worms would do very well for crabbing, but Worms would be good for freshwater fishing. But I used live shrimp to fish with from the dock.

Yes. You just need a salt water license for crabbing and fishing on the public docks. However, if you fish around kings bay and catch like a bass you will need a fresh water license too if you intend to keep the fish.

It's fort island gulf rd. You turn right at the plantation. Follow it all the way to the end of the rd. It's about 7 miles.
