Hi, is the throttle possition sensor is integrated in the throttle body? And do you have to reprogram the throttle body when unplugging and plugging it back?
Yes the position sensor it part of the body I’m sure, but I would say get a new one as I had a second hand one and it was faulty and threw me right off thinking it was other issues, and no you don’t have to reprogram it purely plug and play
@@tengzturiagaiii3185 that’s why I went second hand and risked it and it still cost me £300… it’s because they’re discontinued so prices are through the roof
I'm about to remove mine, I've already replaced split hoses but I'm sure the butterfly valve is snagging in the crappy alloy casting. Especially as it broke a throttle cable before I bought the car. Went like stink when I test drove it so hopefully that wil cure it. Mine also lit the EML light when it was in limp mode. Was your throttle body a new or used replacement?
@@AJCars. I think having just polished out where it was binding mine was the butterfly physically binding in the body. Just polished the edges and body up, shifted the carbon and butterfly back in. If not fixed, I have at least now ruled that out.
@@YootubeUK yeah I made sure to get all the carbon out of mine aswell incase it stuck again, the butterfly is a common thing to go aswell because they’re so weak
Hi friend I also have a throttle body problem and when I step on the clutch while shifting while driving, the rpm went up by 800-1500 I have a problem that comes down very slowly. I ordered a throttle body but I wonder how you solved the RPM problem
@@minjaekim8929 it was all to do with the throttle body, so if I can say anything to help it would be to change that if you’re experiencing the same issues I am
Hi pal, what was the issue? Mine is in idle at the moment, it’s in limp mode and won’t go past 20mph, brings come 005E19 code, which indicates throttle body.
@@d99mu if it’s got a rough idle I’d check the ICV (idle control valve) first, then if that doesn’t work I’d check for leaks in the lines, if it isn’t that I’d go for throttle body mate
It’s a bit of an awkward one it has a certain shape inside so you can only offer it up 1 way, once you line it up you have to push it down whilst turning it clockwise, it basically winds on then will click down once it’s all the way in
Did you end up having to adjust the cable or did you leave it as is when removing the throttle and just place it back on the new one??
Hey man. Im late here but did the maf fix the problem you still had in the end or what did you do?
@@p3kka813 no changing the throttle body fixed it mate!
@@AJCars. So those lights went off? right?
@@p3kka813 yeah I only had the EML Light on and once I’d deleted the codes it went yeah
I have the same car. Seems like you need to tune the cable so your throttle opens properly. I didn’t see you do that, but I’m sure it will help lots
@@dantealex7731 I ended up changing the whole thing and it worked fine after that fortunately!
I look forward to the continuation! I'm struggling with this problem! :D
Throttle body fixed it mate!
Then I'll replace it next week@@AJCars.
@@TVMRC2000 yeah 100% would recommend mate it sorted mine out straight away
Fricking EML 😂😂 I had same problem. I have M52B25 but I replaced DISA valve and throttle body from M52TUB25 now it works perfectly

Hey dude check for any air leaks on the intake

Where is throttle position sensor located
The TPS is manufactured into the throttle body mate
Good luck dude!
