    The nut milk bag juicing tip with the blender was so helpful!! It's the super cheap way to juice.

      Yes definitely and even more effective for juicing greens than most juicers

    I hate to waste any part of a nutritious food so if I was going to use the nut bag and squeeze out the juice then I would take the fibrous part inside the bag and either freeze it for later use or dump it in a pan and use it to make a soup or even add it to a casserole, stew, smoothie or something. I enjoy listening to your instructions. Some TH-cam healthy food videos are a little over the top and this one is very relaxing and informative.

      Thank you I really appreciate your comment…..Those are great ideas for ways to reuse the fiber. I’ve actually made carrot bread and muffins after making carrot juice from the leftover fiber as well.

    Curious why you strain out the fiber? I just got that same blender and will make veggie smoothies asap. But I didn’t see that straining step in other recipes. Why do you strain out the fiber? BTW well-made informative video.

      Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment. I’m showing how to make pure juice in this video using a blender, not smoothies. For smoothies I would just blend and drink. But for juice the same way a juicer works you must strain.

    • @chextra1
      @chextra1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Blossom2Fitness thanks for new knowledge. I was used to making smoothies in my old nutribullet. I will try making strained juice, maybe my granddaughter will drink that.

      one reason to is if certain gut issues like too much fiber could be something overgrown bad bacteria could feed on with SIBO or ease digestion for other reasons. Also prob get a more dense load of nutrients in less space. Can only drink so much smoothie with fiber taking up space so taking out fiber leaves room for more nutrients to intake. Fiber good for normal gut, think it just depends what you're wanting from it
      (not an expert, just felt like guessing)

    • @jc1157
      @jc1157 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Blossom2Fitness I think its up to personal preference those who prefers the fibre dont have to strain just drink it as it is.

    • @christinashaw9113

      Juicing and taking out the fiber is a “fast”. In order to fast you have to take the fiber out so that you bypass digestion to give your body a break from digesting and to heal inflammation and gust issues

    What are the health benefits of juicing rather than using the same ingredients and just making a smoothie. Guys kids don’t lie. If her daughter said the juice was good it must taste amazing. Also what are the health benefits of a foam roller.

    • @Blossom2Fitness
      @Blossom2Fitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The juice is easier for your body to digest and you get the nutrients faster than smoothie. And texture, some people don't like the texture of smoothies. Benefits of foam rolling include. prevention of muscle soreness, improved and quicker recovery from workouts, and helps relax and elongate muscles. You can read more here on my blog www.afronutritionfitness.com/2020/04/how-to-use-foam-roller-to-decrease-pain.html

    • @Blossom2Fitness
      @Blossom2Fitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There’s no specific number of uses but mine typically last for several uses for several months. I think it depends on how you use it and maintain it. Hand washing is best and don’t over squeeze to burst the seems. Here’s one I buy that’s pretty durable. amzn.to/3VP5QFG

    Would you recommend juicing while breastfeeding?

    • @Blossom2Fitness
      @Blossom2Fitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would not recommend limiting the calories you consume when breastfeeding, as this may limit the amount of milk you are able to produce. Particularly if you are exclusively breastfeeding. So I would not recommend a juice cleanse or detox while breastfeeding, but making and drinking juice in ADDITION to a well balanced diet is fine.
