I have just found your channel and I have binge watched an unhealthy number of videos. I am vegan and just been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and am currently doing a strict elimination diet, not sure if I am torturing myself watching your videos but I just love them. I cannot wait till I have reintroduced enough to make some of your baked oatmeal and muffin recipes! You make super healthy eating seem so normal, easy, like it's not a big deal and definitely not restrictive or feeling like you're missing out, I love the sense of balance and healthy chocolate options!!! Thank you!!!!! 💜

TH-cam suggested to me your "Plant Based Meal Prep for Beginners" yesterday. I was so excited. I've wanted to be this kind of eater for a few years now but it always seemed too complicated, too labor intensive and too restrictive. Also, I'm not a person who loves her kitchen very much and I have a burger and chicken wings eating husband. Sigh! I'm not sure if I will make juice, but I wanted to comment on your latest video to let you know I printed out the PDF for the year ago meal prep video and will be stocking up on the ingredients and doing the prep tout suite to get going on this. Thank you for breaking it down! xo karen

I honestly and still trying to figure that out myself right now! I tried a number of different prenatal vitamins when I was pregnant with my kiddos because I’m bad at taking pills and it was hard to find ones I could swallow easily and that had everything I need. Sorry I’m not more help! I would definitely talk with your doctor:)

I don't usually do this but I can't keep silent. The juice she is giving her children is far and above better then any soda.
There are no nutritional benefits to soda. First of all it contains at least 3 forms of sugar not to mention a form of corn syrup. Corn syrup is the main form of sugar used to make candy. Soda also dehydrates you and you have to drink a buttload of water to counteract it. Soda usually contains Citric Acid which not only enhances flavor but is a preservative. Soda also contain carbonated water which wrecks havoc on your kidneys and can cause kidney stones. Soda basically hurts your entire system. It contains no vitamins, minerals, or phytochemicals which are important for your health. It's purpose is to tickle your taste buds and be a sweet treat and kill your pancreas.
On the other hand the juice she is serving her children is chalk full of vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals it is pretty much undiluted/not from concentrate so they are getting all the good stuff!! This juice is a great form of hydration. Juice is also easier to digest for smaller tummies and because it is easier on the tummy the nutrients get to your body faster as well. The vegetables and fruits that she is using are all lower on the glycemic index and thus do not spike the blood sugar as much as soda does.
So I'm sorry but I have to politely disagree. This juice and any juice made in this way is better then any soda. I'm pretty sure though that you were not looking for an lengthy explanation/rebuttal. I'll admit you hit one of my pet peeves. I truly hope you have a great day.

If you're going to give your kids juice without the fiber you might as well just give them soda.

I think there is a big difference! And we almost always drink smoothies instead of homemade juice, but I thought it might be helpful for people to know how to make juice in a blender. You do you!

@@TheConscientiousEater haha yes this is a massive differnce from soda! Just because the fiber is gone doesnt mean all the vitamins are- plus plant based eaters get plenty of fiber in the day... We're not relying on one juice for our daily fiber 😅
