Due to audio compression from youtube, the videos just don't do it justice

Question: what about the tundra hybrid? I'm struggling to figure out what kinda box would fit.

Do not follow these instructions, the pole vent on the rear of the sub is being covered by the Poly-fil, preventing the subs from cooling properly. This will cause the voice coil to overheat prematurely. The vent is there for a reason.

Appreciate the input, however. In this particular case, there is sufficient space beneath the opening and the polyfill . . additionally if you take a look at our FB page . . you will see we have installed MANY of these setup. NOT one sub failure thus far.

I respectfully disagree with your assessment of the install. Also, the fact that none of the subs have failed yet does not justify an improper installation. We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. @@tacotunes

@@Chris_Currie Best Practice Vs Real Life is the debate here . . We have PROOF of NON FAILED subwoofers, you can refer to our FB page. You will see MANY installs setup this exact same way. You are simply reciting “best practices”. One of our very close customers is a younger gentlemen that literally beats the crap out his subs for the last 2.5 years . . . plays for hours (long commute) at a time. He actually anticipated sub failure and keeps us apprised every so often. We are very grateful for all his great feedback on social media . . . . in the simplest terms No Harm No Foul . . . If we have not seen a failed sub under heavy abuse, chances are the average user sub will last 10 plus years.

@@tacotunes I don't doubt that. I never questioned your claim that none of the installed woofers have failed.
