Haters are ignoring this is more of a proof of concept than anything - but I could see first responders getting some use out of it.
I agree with some comments. With others, I think it's more just careful criticism of specific aspects of the concept in the way he did things in particular.
However, "first responders" in what capacity? Any first responder I can think of other than possibly the first contacts with police would need a vehicle and supplies with them. Any emergency response teams would. It wouldn't make sense for that application. Unless you're thinking of a niche use that hasn't crossed my mind.
I've seen my fair share of Adam Savage to know that perspex hood would be tricky, before I even watched this.
Not practicle visibility ? Fog? How do you open after a fall ?

In my student days I used to ride a motorcycle regularly in cold, heavy rain without getting wet. I dressed normally and then over my normal clothes I wore an industrial waterproof coat and waterproof trousers. I wore waterproof gloves and had a visor on my helmet. Never got wet.
The bike seems hard to handle with the build. I don’t know about messing with aero and weight distribution on a motorcycle as well.😅

Very work-intensive solution using many different techniques. Great work! BUT it will be very susceptible to sidewinds and VERY NOISY inside. It will make the bike more top heavy as well. And I hope he can remove it quickly for warm weather otherwise it will be a two-wheel greenhouse!

You may think about possibly powder coating your metal, much stronger and longer lasting than a aerosol can
nice idea but now you need to figure out how to wash out the rain drops so you can see the road because nano tech liquids are not windshield wipers...one heave rain would be enough
Besides that it is very dangerous to ride a motorcycle in the rain for a lot of reasons other than that great job tremendous amount of work

your first acrylic pull, most likely, looked shitty because the material had moisture on it.
acrylic, when heated, will bubble up if it is wet or even if it is overly humid.

Me encanta los inventos, pero aunque la ejecución esta bien, en mi opinión es desgraciar esa preciosa moto, si no te quieres mojar comprate un coche. Por suerte tenemos buenos trajes de lluvia y libertad para movernos con 2 ruedas, mojarnos y sentir el frio y la calor.

Car le problème de la moto sous la pluie, c’est n’est pas de protéger le haut de son corps, il existe de très bons vêtements pour ça. Le problème, c’est le manque d’adhérence et le risque de chute !!!

I’m sorry but I’m an old Harley rider that’s too old and crippled up to ride any more but the thing I miss most about riding is the invigorating feel of the wind in my face and even the rain when it’s not too hard. I’ve never ridden a bike with a faring (for Sissies) and rode a lot in the rain with no front fenders. This builder is truly gifted but should stick to airplanes. That looks like it would take the fun out of riding. Good job though.
