- Wow! huge amount of gold, for such a short run. Pickerton might be the best place I have ever run a highbanker. And after this first little test run catching great gold and pickers I can see running a full day here could be very rewarding with a lot of gold as a return. Unfortunately this time around I did not have much time, and my Water pump packed it in on me. So I had to cut the High Banking trip short.

This was really fun. I'm excited to see the results of cleaning out that trough, then to see the tailings running down it when you start on the top. Kinda reminds me of floating our little boats down the big ditches in Delta when I was a youngster. Much youngsterer.. 😁

I used to work three claims in South Dakota Black Hills with my uncle back in the early 70s when I was a little tike. I don't know how I came across your videos but I love them and now you make me wish I were back in the hills. My brother and I used to run up and down and all through the standby mine before it was all torn down. Just had rotator cuff and hip surgery but maybe I'll get a vacation out there next year. Although I'm sure all the ground is claimed. I am a new subscriber at 99.4K.

Who here remembers the old pull start motors where you just wrapped a rope around the pulley ?

Love your channel Dan. When I lived near Cripple Creek Colorado, I had success vacuuming out the corigated culverts under the roads below the big gold mine. I now live in Florida and love it but... I really miss prospecting.

Dan, WV here. Love the gold prospecting! What state are you in? I went on the GPAA Alaska gold expedition in 2005. Do you have a “gold concentrate giveaway “ often? Have a gold pan but no gold. It’s only arrowhead hunting and bottle digging here.
