Jeff has made his father a very proud man on this day man I know he's smiling up there looking down on and and saying that's my Boy for not giving up on his dreams rest easy pops much love
Hey Jeff, I wanted to thank you for sharing all of your knowledge and content. My buddy George got me into your channel a few years ago, and I've been watching ever since. You, Dan, Allan, Jason and Brian have inspired me to get back into my old hobby of geology and prospecting, you guys are awesome! I just recently became a patron, and I accept your mine challenge. I can volunteer you 3 days of hard labor this summer or fall( I work in restoration for Servpro and have my own full-face respo, I'm also Health and safety certified thru the IICRC). I'm a 31 year old strong back that doesn't quit and would love to give you and Slim a hand. Let me know.
Boy Jeff, I cannot fathom how much energy you have. To do all the work you have done, and continue to do is simply amazing. I am now 71 years old, and have done my fair share of work over the years. But to watch you, and see all the work you are doing is unbelievable. I just became a premium patron to support your efforts in the mine. God Bless, and let's get going......
G,day Jeff, I must say I do so thoroughly enjoy the drift mine episodes, looks like you've got some pretty serious load bearing material, it's great and really interesting to see the actual ancient river bed, man it's pretty exciting stuff. I don't know if you watch any of the TH-cam channels of the Australian prospectors, but there's a few who have been hitting some excellent ground, both untouched ground and also redigging Olde 1800,s ground previously mined by hand, anyway,in both cases they've been coming up with some hefty nuggets 20 ounce and bigger, from what I'm seeing there in your drift mine, sure looks promising, be good to see you strike upon that motherload. Can't wait, all the best regards to you and Lila from here on the West Coast side of Australia 🌏
G'day Avan, we do to ....so much fun especially seeing all that Gold makes that blood get a pumping.... yes we love to watch several of them especially where they dug where the Old Timers dug ....thats like what we are doing and the reef Gold the found that produced many ounces of specimen Gold..... Thanks and you too my friend .....we know the 10 and 20 ounce Nuggets are down there
Those old timers, half of what they found in Victoria fell out between the claim and the creek there was that much of it and they were in such a hurry to get it washed. All over Australia, planes are doing survey work with new tech, looking for gold, silver and copper and they are finding rivers of it. Just like the old days, if you have a strong back you can strike it lucky today. Bloody hard ground in WA, hard to dig a hole as deep as the new detectors want you to dig, but in WA in the bush, if its deep its gold. WA is about a third of the size of the USA with 3 men and a dog living there honestly if you go looking in WA you cant not find gold, half of it is on the surface, just covered in red dust.
Sunny Jim, so what was that at the bottom?.....Snake?......From the worm people?...Did you find a river down there?...You said you were close to water...............Very kool cart...........SWEET...................JB.
noy sure JB .....it went down pretty fast and the soil is wet and very soft ....water is right there ....could be a pre-historic red worm ..... maybe an ambassador form the worm people ...we did find water ...thanks
I am so jealous of you Jeff, I found a man here in AK that I was possibly going to go prospecting with but his second bought with Covid took him and Covid really screwed up my life also to the point where my prospecting ability is really limited. I even had Covid at the same he did when he passed, even though I hadn't seen Kirk in 1 year! (I shared your videos with him)Your videos really are a great help(education wise) and so enjoyable. Thank you
The best geologist in the world today, that pan proves it. Not just a random mining claim, he knew the right area and the correct depth. Pure expertise.
Loving these drift mine videos Jeff! I always look forward to seeing it in my subscription feed. I love the progress you've made, and I love the way you present it. Keep them pants on Jeff!
I very much like all your videos, especially the ones where I'm getting educated, but my favorite is your mine, I just love watching it growing and you working!
I’m ready Jeff. Been working earth moving machines since I was a little boy. Have no issues with some manual labor as long as I’m learning something from ya.
I am a trucker driver by trade, but seeing these videos makes me itch for summer so I can finally get back out to a river at least. This year I would like to try metal detecting in Arizona if I can get the time off..
Hey Jeff! What about some detachable, sheet metal sides that would act like a hopper? Then when you advance the back, and top of the ribs, it just falls into the ore cart.
Nice smile in that pan ! In metal detecting over iron rails , would hard plastic rails for the first 4 feet allow for detecting ? Then move the plastic rails up as the shaft progresses ?

Awesome video my friend. That's a nice pan of gold. Got my bags packed. Be safe ✌️ 🙏. Are you still doing work at the place you were blasting getting them one ounce nuggets from. Them worm people are getting richer everyday lol.
Heya Jeff, watched this a day late, was flat out at work yesterday doing a 13hr shift, yep you read right, I'm back working and back behind the wheel of a B/double. I tell you what, I am so glad that you came across that ol'chinese digging way back when, it has proved itself an absolute godsend. It wasn’t just the old timers that reassembled equipment under ground. I took a R1300G Cat wheel loader to the Lucky Friday silver mine in Mullen, Idaho a few years back. It completely cut apart and welded back together 6000 feet underground. The pieces had to fit into a 6x6 elevator. Reassembly took 2 weeks. It than started it’s working life another mile under the mountain, never to see daylight again.
I was going to say the first thing would be to bring down a cart but then as a fart smeller and a good one at that I said to myself; smash that like button and smash it hard then, back to the gold!!! Out of your entire mine that is the best panout I have seen so far. Nice work Jeff and I remember the Mercury dimes when I was a kid in the 1960s. Those were the good old days for coin collectors. Recently, I have been checking those green change machines one finds in stores and I recently picked up a Barber dime out of one. Used to get Barber dimes all the time when I was a kid. It would be nice if one could get enough gold to mint coins the way the Kellogg company did in the 1850s in California.
While you where running the HackJammer in super gold mining speed I swore I seen written on the wall, (FORCE) But I may have had a few to many "cookies" for Lunch. thanks for the hard work putting all this, mining, video and extreme enthusiasm. Jeff do you think specimens like that have high enough specific gravity to stick in a sluice box on the back of a dredge ?
yes if the dredge is set up right
@@Askjeffwilliams guess you and slim will have to come North to Alaska and give us a little tutorial. 😂
I'll come dig with you any time Jeff. Watching that quartz nugget come out that black sand got me thinking back when I used to pan with my pops. Love it. 👍
