I have a dual underseat for a ram could this still be the problem if only 1 of them sounds like this. I can’t hear it at high volumes but it’s kinda annoying at low levels
Got the same problem with 2 12 Rockford fosgate p1s the subs are amazing but the box had a solid q outer in” gap at the bottom a few screws helped but just sucks getting good subs with a ass box.
turn up your music, listen to the rattle then press around the box putting pressure on it until it stops, my rattle was between the top piece of wood and the back. i just put a screw in it and it fixed it, mine was rattling bad until i put my hand on the top and pressed then it stopped so i just put a screw in it. if it doesn’t stop it could possibly be the subs or a piece of glue or something rattling in the box.
i’m still breaking them in, so they’re very underpowered right now but soon they’ll hit really deep and hard and now theyll hit clean now that i fixed my box
I did this but only did the top of the box and it was still rattling, it actually blew the whole back panel off but it was still doing it becuase I forgot to screw down the bottom of the box too
Yo thank u so much I’ve spent hours trying to figure out what the rattling noise was coming from my subs and turns out it was just the box
So this was a buzz inbetween two panels of the box itself?

My kicker comp r 12s in a box just destroyed the front panel enclosure. I think this may be a engineering issue.
Im here cause im having the exact noise but i have the dual kicker loaded l7r. I guess my box wasn't built well either

I’ve tried two different boxes and I still have the rattle. Maybe I just need to buy a new box.

Ok. I don’t hear the rattle on the inside. I hear it on the outside . Turns out it’s rattle underneath where my exhaust is close to my cab.
Just bought a brand new subwoofer for my suburban and it was doing the same thing needed more screws
Now you need triple 12’s
Sounds good,I have Punch Rockford Fosgate that I use.
