Literally just had a very very similar problem, board had rattled loose between the subs. I used caulk to put it back in place, sounded great ever since. It's been 2 months now, no more rattle.
I have a head unit with 6 input F+R+S.I have to bridge interior speakers. Which wiring is best for quality and power on a 2 amplifier setup 4ch/2ch 1.3 pairs of aux two of them F+R to the 4ch and S to the 2ch. Than bridge speaker wires of 4ch 2.2 pairs of aux and 2 splitters. If so use F or R?after split becomes 2L and 2R follow color code? 3. 3 pair of aux 2 of them going from head unite F+R to 4ch, and the last one from 4ch out to 2ch. I should just ask Is there a way to bridge without sacrificing fading There is no video that will explain those choices of wiring. I think because everyone seems to have a DSP. Anyways Thanks in advance.
Yeah, it's recommended to use a dsp in that scenario. But I would do #1 if you're bridging interior speakers down to 2 channels. Are you only running 2 interior speakers?
@@Blownproductions the 4ch amp is 50w rms x 4 4ohm 100w rms x 2 2ohm 260w rms x 2 4ohm Front components 100rms 4ohm Rear 3way 50rms 4ohm Looks like I’m going to parallel wire left right and sacrifice fading. Now that I fell 40w short. Instead of 300w rms it’s now 260w rms square root to get my gain correct It’s my mother car working on what she has from a previous car that was totaled. I wasn’t able to open the front doors to get the speakers. I caught a deal on components.where I’m stuck. 15yrs passed doing anything 12volt related everything got interesting again dd1 smd cc1 and processors by app. But still no Dts 5.1 optic cable. Oh wait I should just use the components and not use the rear
Would, using Titebond d3 while building the box, prevent this? I mean, i see people just screwing box panels together. Doesn't a strong wood glue prevent disassembling of the box (wich causw the rattling)?
Cool content ! Just found your channel 🔥👊🏼 Sometimes ya just wanna get it to hold on a little longer 👊🏼 That’s just a normal ported enclosure- just a long port that’s bent to get a good tuning Transmission lines are very large **** I use the same screws on alot of boxes- they work for sure 🔊
It's an honor having you, man!!! I've seen your videos and have NO IDEA why I haven't subbed yet! Subbed now! Thank you for the info, and yup, I'm just trying to get a little more time out of it!
Bro i have the same problem but with my portable zealot s67 speaker, it was opened up to check what was causing the continuous rattling but there was no visible damage of any sort. Please help 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Need a bigger box for those gothic series. My brother has the same subs but his box is way bigger and when he finally listened and got the bigger box for them his subs were twice as loud and I doubled his port area and he pushed them 1500w crossfire amp. So you can get a lot more out of your system if you wanted to.
not usually the kind of content i watch on youtube but i don't regret clicking out of curiosity. cool video
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that!
Great fix!!! 👍 love your channel man! Keep up the good work!
Thank you!!!
Those bazooka amps were awesome, I always had good luck with them
That thing actually really suprised me

Thank you!!!❤️
Hell yeah nobody wants a rattling box , nice fix 😏
😅😅😅 Thank you man!!!🦅

@@DaveDaHunt3R Absolutely! It also seals the box.
That’s why most common prefabs are garbage, they use staples and caulking that’s it, they don’t glue joints or use screws as fasteners
YES!!! It's only a matter of time before they rattle.
